Gavin Newsom Gaslights America About The Corporate Media
California Governor Gavin Newsom went on MSNBC on Tuesday. Did he talk about his state’s high cost of living and nearly unlivable cities? No. Instead, he went and whined about conservative governors and the conservative media.
He whined about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Texas Governor Greg Abbott flying immigrants to sanctuary cities and states. Perhaps they should send some more illegal immigrants to Newsom’s California. He apparently wants them so bad.
He whined about how the Republican Party treats immigrants. He says the Republican Party is successfully demonizing immigrants. Newsom is engaged in gaslighting by making that claim. Most Republicans have no problem with immigrants, we just want them to come here legally. Gavin Newsom isn’t very smart but he’s smart enough to tell the difference between legal immigrants and illegal immigrants. He’s counting on his audience not being able to tell the difference.
But Newsom saved his most absurd attempts at gaslighting when he gave his analysis of the media landscape. He claims that the American right has the benefit of a “propaganda” machine in the media that the American left does not. Again, while Gavin Newsom isn’t very smart, he’s counting on his audience being dumber than even he is.
Most Americans realize the corporate media which includes NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, PBS, MSNBC, NPR, The New York Times, The Washington Post, most major daily newspapers, and most online media outlets, while pretending to be objective, are little more than Democratic Party and progressive propaganda outlets. That’s not even taking into account the overwhelmingly leftist lean of social media companies, which actively censor non-leftist speech.
The real problem people like Gavin Newsom have is that more and more Americans are tuning out the corporate media. They’re tuning into alternative media and are seeking out the truth and not just accepting the leftist narrative.
Gavin Newsom is hoping Joe Biden drops dead or otherwise decides not to run for president in 2024. He really wants to make his own White House run. Try not to laugh too hard at that thought. That’s why he’s gracing us with his presence on national TV.
Instead of facing up to his many failures as California’s governor, he’s choosing to gaslight the American people. The problem for him is that the American people aren’t falling for that.
