Twice Deported Illegal Wanted in Honduras on Murder Charges
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers have removed an illegal alien from Honduras who was previously deported but came back and was wanted in his home country on charges of threats, theft, and murder.
ICE officers removed that illegal alien, Jose Manuel Soto-Ramirez, 33, from the United States late last month, according to a statement that ICE officers published Tuesday.
โSoto entered the United States at an unknown date and location without being admitted or paroled by an immigration officer. He was encountered by U.S. Border Patrol on May 9, 2010, near Laredo, Texas, and was determined to be inadmissible into the United States.; he was issued an expedited removal order and removed to Honduras on June 16, 2010,โ ICE officials said.

โAt an unknown date and location, Soto reentered the United States without being admitted or paroled by an immigration officer. On Aug. 26, 2021, a judge in the Supreme Court of Justice at La Paz, Honduras, issued an arrest warrant for Soto for charges of murder, theft, and threats. On April 8, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) encountered Soto at the Huntsville, Alabama Police Department and served him with a notice of intent/decision to reinstate prior removal order.
As RVIVR reported last month, a 27-year-old illegal alien who invaded multiple homes in the South Texas area and carried out callous acts of violence will serve 29 years in a federal prison.
The illegal immigrant in question, Denis Matute, pleaded guilty to two counts of interference with commerce by robbery and two counts of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence in November of last year. Court officials noted the sadistic method Matute used toward the victim of one of the home invasions.
Matute was part of a robbery crew involved in several crimes, to include two violent robberies during which they brandished firearms. One occurred at the A1 Flea Market in Houston.

There, the crew handcuffed a security guard and proceeded to kick him while down. They then robbed two separate booths and pointed guns at multiple individuals. During the hearing, the judge commented on how Matute and his crew carjacked an individual at gunpoint while in route to the robbery.โ
Matute was also convicted for his role in robbing a pawn shop in 2017. During that robbery, the crew pointed guns at employeesโ heads before breaking the glass and stealing multiple items, including expensive Rolex watches.
Most of the Republican voter base wants a border wall, no illegal immigration, and less legal immigration. A recent Gallup poll found that nearly 70 percent of Republican voters want less immigration to the United States, and about half of Republicans view immigration as a bad thing. A recent Rasmussen survey reported that over 50 percent of Republicans want current legal immigration levels cut in half.
