Did you Catch Milo Yiannopoulos on Timcast?

A few weeks ago, conservative legend Milo Yiannopoulos appeared on the popular political livestream Timcast. Milo’s appearance is one of his first media appearances in the past few years. So, I made sure to check out this video livestream—even though I am not much of a fan of the show.

For those who are unfamiliar, Milo Yiannopoulos became one of the most popular political commentators/activists in the mid-2010s for his viral media appearances, his firebrand comments, and his eccentric clothing attire. He also wrote on the popular conservative website Breitbart between 2014 and 2017.

Back in the beginning of the Trump era, Milo was the center of attention in the conservative movement. His college campus speaking tours between 2015 and 2017 received massive attention—including the time when Cal-Berkeley cancelled Milo’s speaking event due to mass rioting. This cancelled speech still lives on in political lore for the national uproar it caused in 2017:

Personally, I still remember enjoying Milo Yiannopoulos highlight video compilations as a high schooler. His witty invectives against feminism and political correctness—which were two popular political issues in the 2016 era—were both entertaining and insightful to many political neophytes. Looking back, Milo was a formative political figure in the lives of many up-and-coming young conservatives. So, one would be remiss to not pay homage to this right-wing legend.

After President Trump’s election, Milo’s popularity receded after Big Tech companies deplatformed him from most of the major social media sites—including Facebook, Twitter, Patreon, and more. He even got banned from entering Australia in 2019. In a way, you could even say that the Milo was one of the early victims of Cancel Culture when Twitter banned his account in 2016.

Nevertheless, Milo has made a comeback in the past year—both publicly and personally. In fact, Milo recently rededicated his rededicated to Christianity and ended his hedonistic, decadent lifestyle. His complete reversal into a more Christ-focused, conservative lifestyle should remind us all that everyone is redeemable.

Fast-forward to earlier this month, Milo went onto the Timcast to talk about the 2022 Midterm election results and the case for President Trump running in 2024. Based on this two-hour show, you can clearly tell Milo is a true political veteran. His articulate answers and lucid takes demonstrate his understanding on the pulse of the nation and of the MAGA voter base in particular.

Another one of my biggest takeaways from this show is how Milo truly understands the uniqueness of the 2016 political revolution—which culminated in President Trump’s presidential election victory in November 2016.

Now, I don’t want to completely spoil the whole episode’s content, but I will say that this episode will not disappoint if you decide to give it a listen.

So, make sure to check out Milo’s appearance on Timcast. You won’t want to miss it:
