Killing Two Birds With One Classified Document Stone

Recently, Matt Gaetz floated an interesting theory about the Biden Classified Document scandal. Gaetz wondered if Deep State Democrats were using the discovery of top-secret documents unlawfully in Slow Joe Biden’s possession as a smokescreen to rid themselves of a growing liability, especially since the president recently stated his intention to run for another term.

“I don’t know that that’s the case, but I don’t know that it’s not,” Gaetz said. “But just as Joe Biden is hardening the cement around his decision to run for president again, they start looking for what classified documents might have been tucked away eight years ago.”

Hmmm….

Gaetz might be onto something, but I can’t help but wonder if the plot doesn’t go deeper. In other words, if the Democrats are willing to give up Biden for mishandling classified documents, it would provide instant credibility in their attempt to charge Donald Trump with the exact same crime. In essence, crafty Democrat back-room operatives could get rid of one they truly hate (Trump) and rid themselves of a nagging problem (Biden) at the same time.

The Unusual Circumstances Surrounding the Biden Discovery

Biden’s document drama includes a lot of “assessments” by various law enforcement agencies, but this is the basic timeline:

  • Nov.2: Biden’s lawyers purportedly find classified documents at his Washington think tank six days before the midterm elections.
  • Nov. 18: Attorney General Merrick Garland appoints a special counsel in the Trump classified document case.
  • Dec. 20: Biden’s personal attorney reveals more documents were found in Biden’s garage.
  • Jan. 9: The public learns about the Biden document scandal.
  • Jan. 11: Biden’s attorneys find more classified documents at an undisclosed location.
  • Jan. 12: Garland appoints a special counsel to investigate the Biden documents.

What We Need to Know

There’s something about the Biden document scandal that doesn’t smell right… More from Gaetz:

“I mean, there’s an element of this where it’s Joe Biden’s lawyer who turns this information over, it’s Joe Biden’s own Justice Department that’s appointed a special counsel to investigate him–maybe the Democrats have realized that Joe Biden is not useful to them anymore, and they just as soon toss him out and get a younger crop of candidates engaged in the next presidential race,” Gaetz said.

From almost any angle, the discovery of classified documents in Biden’s possession is a head scratcher that raises a number of questions. What were Biden’s lawyers looking for in the first place when they inadvertently discovered the documents at the Penn-Biden Center? What led them to Biden’s garage, and who gave them permission to go through his personal archives to find the second trove of documents? Where is the “second location,” and why hasn’t it been revealed?

As we know, Democrats never give up their own unless it’s a sacrifice that protects or promotes those in higher positions of authority. Look at the far more serious fake Russia collusion scandal, where no one in the FBI, DOJ or the Clinton campaign was ever held accountable. That’s how vigorously Democrats protect their own when the people under investigation are important to the cause.

So, we’re supposed to believe Biden’s personal lawyers would willingly turn over evidence in a matter where precedent was set in the Clinton email server case by the FBI, who refused to bring charges in an obvious breech of classified document handling law?

Eliminating Two Irritants at the Same Time

In many ways, Democrats are like the Borg from Star Trek. Everything revolves around the collective and its relentless pursuit of power. If you serve a useful purpose as a cog in the machine, you are safe. However, if your liabilities exceed your assets, you are disconnected from the hive and left to wither and die.

Remember, these are the same Democrats who plotted a silent coup. Could they have developed a plan to eliminate both Trump and Biden from the field of presidential candidates in 2024 by charging both with essentially the same crime? Surely, Democrat attorneys at the DOJ would use the Biden prosecution as a PR tool to lend credibility in their effort to pursue Trump. If both investigations proceed with equal vigor, how could Republicans, or Trump for that matter, claim the effort is a partisan witch hunt?

Certainly, as these events continue to unfold, it will be essential to watch how the respective special counsels process each case. If we see Democrats begin to turn on Biden while a consensus begins to form around some other woke idealogue with a presidential profile, it would indicate that the decision to decouple from Biden has been made. Simultaneously ridding the Republican party of Trump might be a debt the RINOs would gladly owe the Democrats.

In other words, killing two inconvenient birds with one stone…
