The Latest Expression Of White Supremacy, Per TIME Magazine: Physical Fitness!
If one of your resolutions was to get into better shape and improve your overall health by setting up a regiment of exercise, a woke leftist lunatic says youโre a racist and Time Magazine gave her the platform to do it.
This is a case of dual lunacy. Natalia Mehlman Petrzela, who has written other books about โwhite privilegeโ and supports such fallacies as Black lives Matter and Defund the Police, has decided to once again openly display her ignorance.
This time though, she had some help. Time Magazine interviewed Petrzela about her new book and apparently the interviewer wasnโt insightful enough to see that her outrageously idiotic claims were only made in order to promote her absurd drivel.
Petrzela is an associate professor of history at the New School. A private liberal university/grooming house located in New York city. Iโm not even going to mention the title of the trash that she calls a book. I will, however, share her inane conclusions that are not by any stretch of the imagination fact based.
Petrzela would like you to believe that Americans used to view being obese as a good thing. In her delusion, wealthy individuals had access to better food than the rest of the country, therefore being fat was a form of affluence.
โUntil the 1920s or so, to be what would be considered today fat or bigger, was actually desirable and actually signified affluence, which is like the polar opposite of today, when so much of the obesity epidemic discourse is connected to socio-economic inequality and to be fat is often to be seen as to be poor.โ
In her very own version of liberal revisionist history, Petrzela then deduced that society shifted away from obesity not to improve health for all, but so that white women in particular were healthier.
Why just white women you may ask? Well, according to this self-proclaimed genius, it was so that the healthier white women would have higher birth rates, in order to keep pace with the immigrant and black population.
Here is how she explains it:
โThey said we should get rid of corsets, corsets are an assault on womenโs form, and that women should be lifting weights and gaining strength. At first, you feel like this is so progressive. Then you keep reading, and theyโre saying white women should start building up their strength because we need more white babies. Theyโre writing during an incredible amount of immigration, soon after enslaved people have been emancipated. This is totally part of a white supremacy project. So that was a real โholy crap momentโ as a historian, where deep archival research really reveals the contradictions of this moment.โ
I almost burst out laughing when I read her quote about it being a โreal โholy crap moment.โ Then calling herself an โhistorian, where deep archival research really reveals the contradiction of this moment.โ
Iโm guessing the โholy crapโ moment she describes was when she totally succumbed to her woke fantasies. The historian claim is also a joke. Rewriting opinionated lies based on personal beliefs is not reporting or teaching history, itโs distorting it. As far as deep archival research is concerned, I would suggest that she expand her research outside of Saul Alinsky.
Petrzelaโs book of fiction is due out on January 6th, something Time Magazine new when they did the interview. They are aware that one way to promote a new book is to make outrageous statements about its content. The crazier the claims, the more liberals will flock to it.
There are two scenarios under which Time Magazine would allow this blatant disparaging of history.
First, they are on board and approve of the dispersion of such blatant untruths. Under that scenario, itโs obvious that they have become politically corrupted and have aligned themselves with the left.
Second, they are so oblivious to real history that they will accept any version that is presented to them without researching whether it is true or not.
In either case, Time Magazine, like so many others, can no longer be trusted. It is just one more journalistic fatality that the woke movement has destroyed.
