Tiger Woods Tampon Incident Sends Male Bonding Further Underground
Over the weekend, golfing great Tiger Woods was caught on camera handing another player, Justin Thomas, a tampon as they walked down the ninth fairway after hitting their tee shots. In fact, Woods at 47 outdrove both Thomas and Rory McIlroy, who are considerably younger than Woods.
Naturally, the condemnation from woke zealots monitoring all forms of media was swift and included former Olympic sprinter Michael Johnson. It appears that Woods knew almost instantly that he stepped in it.
Predictably, Woods immediately issued an apology in hopes of quelling the groundswell of condemnation. As he groveled on camera, his obvious agony was painful to watch. “It was supposed to be all fun and games and obviously it hasn’t turned out that way. If I offended anybody, it was not the case, it was just friends having fun. As I said, if I offended anybody in any way, shape or form, I’m sorry. It was not intended to be that way. It was just we play pranks on one another all the time and virally I think this did not come across that way, but between us it was – it’s different”
Why do celebrities continue to offer demeaning apologies when none are warranted? It only enflames the mean-spirited people who live in a permanent state of judgement and victimhood. Woods mentioned the word “fun” twice in his statement, which only made the situation worse. Woke has no time for fun since there is too much injustice in the world. They want everyone to be as miserable as they are. It’s a mission. That’s why, if you roll over and show your belly like Woods did, you can rest assured the woke mob will sink their teeth into it.
To be fair, the vast majority of tweets were supportive of Woods, which might be a sign that American society is getting fatigued by the free-expression straight jacket Woke has put us in. Still, the fact that the tampon exchange was an issue at all tells us the woke mob’s relentless march towards authoritarianism continues. Woods apology is just another notch on their totalitarian belt.
Sending Male Bonding Further Underground
Personally, I’ve seen the tampon spoof on the golf course several times. It’s a variation on a common theme. For example, let’s say your name is John Smith, and you hit a putt short. You can always count on someone in the foursome to remark, “Nice putt, Mrs. Smith. Does your husband play golf too?”
The point is that in golf, women usually play from the red tees, which are considerably shorter than the white or blue tees men play from. Like nearly every sport, through no fault of their own, women lack the physical prowess to compete with men, and no amount of hormone injections can change that. A joke that compares your buddy to a woman golfer isn’t meant to be disparaging toward women. Instead, it’s just “picking at him,” needling him, busting his chops or a variety of other terms guys use to bond in friendship when they’re amongst themselves.
No matter how much Woke and radical feminists try to prohibit this kind of behavior, they’ll only succeed in pushing it further underground. I guarantee the next time Tiger Woods wants to rib JT a little in an off-color way, he’ll do it in the clubhouse, away from the cameras. We’re seeing this more often across the country. When guys get together to golf, bowl, ride ATVs, hunt, fish, etc., unless they’re in a remote area somewhere, they’re glancing around to see who has a cell phone or where the nearest surveillance camera is located.
Woke got its Pound of Flesh
In his video confession, Woods appeared so uncomfortable one could envision him doing an Ex-Lax commercial. I imagine he slapped his forehead once he realized how foolish it was to hand off a tampon on a fairway full of cameras, but of course, in another time, no one would have cared. Nevertheless, it serves as a lesson for men everywhere. Whatever you do or say may be recorded by a cell phone or hidden camera, and if it doesn’t fit the woke guidelines of allowed speech, assume it will be used against you.
Getting together with the guys is no longer the harmless fun it used to be because woke has a put a target on the backs of heterosexual men. In the same way other persecuted groups were forced to take refuge among their own, we must stick together because Woke is coming for us.
