Red Cross Pulls A Double Cross, Supplies Maps To Illegals

For personal reasons, I stopped donating to the Red Cross, the Salvation Army and stopped buying Girl Scout cookies several years ago. Without going into a lot of detail, a combination of accounting practices and/or political and social stances guided my decisions.

Learning about things like this concerning the Red Cross, makes me even more resolute about my decision.

The Daily Caller News Foundation was able to obtain maps and information guides that are produced and distributed by the American Red Cross that are designed to facilitate the entrance of illegals into the United States.

Jennie Taer, a reporter with the Daily Caller, states that the map is, “part of a packet stamped with the International Committee of the Red Cross and American Red Cross logos, shows a list of resources, including hotels, clinics and shelters where migrants can get support in Mexico and Central America.”

The International Committee of the Red Cross’s Mission Statement reads:

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence and to provide them with assistance.

The ICRC also endeavors to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles.

Established in 1863, the ICRC is at the origin of the Geneva Conventions and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. It directs and coordinates the international activities conducted by the Movement in armed conflicts and other situations of violence.

As far back as 2019, the ICRC announced an initiative to use the instant-messaging and social media application WhatsApp to help Central American migrants make their way through Mexico to the U.S. border by sending self-protection messages. For instance, advice on how to survive the desert and various diseases one is most likely to contract. It details how to safely jump on trains and even how to obtain contraceptives. Immigrants are informed of which routes to take, places to obtain food and water, and how to contact their families. The ICRC shares phone numbers with hostels and NGOs to create a line of contact for migrants seeking help along migration routes. Some of the routes provided take illegals directly to El Paso and McAllen, Texas, and Nogales, Arizona

The Red Cross is a well-funded organization. The “non-profit” organization is on the board of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA), Food and Shelter Program. In February they received $350 million dollars from the Department of Homeland Security, not to mention the millions of dollars that are collected from donations.

In typical liberal fashion, the Red Cross is blind to the real problem. They are exasperating the danger to these people by essentially encouraging them to venture to a country which they know will result in illegal entry. In a sense, they are aiding and abetting criminal entry into the United States. These people should be encouraged to remain in their native countries and work for change. Instead, tone deaf organizations like the Red Cross do the opposite.

Liberals, love to see themselves as saviors, when in reality their self-righteous and narcissistic intentions do nothing but complicate already cumbersome issues.

Tough love is still love. Sometimes the answer needs to be NO, not because it’s uncaring, on the contrary, because it is necessary for change at the root of the issue.

Liberals always say yes, not because it’s the right thing to do, but because it makes THEM feel better.
