Dodgers Prove They Are Aptly Named, Reinvite Disgusting LGBTQ Pervs Dressed As Nuns
The Los Angeles Dodgers have reached a new low in living up to their name. A “Dodger” by definition is a shifty or sneaky person who lies and tricks their way out of fulfilling an obligation. We’ve all heard the term “draft dodger” to mean someone that went to some lengths to avoid being drafted into the military. In Charles Dickens’ “Oliver Twist” a very skilled pickpocket was known as the “Artful Dodger.”
The Los Angelas Dodgers have failed to fulfill their moral obligation to fans that have followed the team for decades. They have “dodged” the responsibility of standing up for American values and instead have gone woke, by folding to a small vocal mob of misfits, that the majority of rational Americans find repulsive.
A group of pornographic gay and transgender drag queens, that go by the name of The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were invited to the Dodgers’ 10th annual Pride Night that is scheduled for June 16th. The group was scheduled to receive a “Community Hero Award” for their work in raising money and awareness for marginalized people, such as AIDS patients and unhoused queer and transgender youth.
I feel the need to interject some thoughts here. First, I find it ridiculous that any major sports franchise feels obligated to hold a “pride night.” There are so many larger and much more worthy groups that should be celebrated before such a small and controversial group is placed in the limelight. Second, for all of the overblown, glowing reviews of what this group has accomplished, if you look deeper, you will find that it isn’t anything on the scale that it is being trumped up to be. Also, they are doing it at the expense of the Catholic religion. By dressing hideously as nuns, that alone is insulting, but their actions are vulgar. On their website their motto reads “Go Forth and Sin Some more!”
Anyway, after immediate backlash from Catholic priests, organizations such as Catholic League and Catholic Vote and some conservative politicians, such as Senator Marco Rubio who wrote to the MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred, the group was dis-invited.
Rubio wrote:
“Major League Baseball, as a private organization in a free country, can give awards to whatever groups it chooses no matter how loathsome, but baseball has always been tied to our nation’s values, at the heart of which is faith in God. It would be an outrage and a tragedy if the MLB, in pursuit of modern, secular, and indeed anti-religious “values,” rebuked that faith and the millions of believing fans who cherish the sport. Do you believe that the Los Angeles Dodgers are being inclusive and welcoming to everyone by giving an award to a group of gay and transgender drag performers that intentionally mocks and degrades Christians and not only Christians, but nuns, who devote their lives to serving others?”
So for a while it appeared the Dodgers were going to do the right thing. However, after receiving threats from the ACLU and others, the Dodger’s woke, weak knees buckled and they lived up to their name.
Not only did they abandon the fans that have supported them and created their success, they actually kissed the ring of the devil and issued a stomach-churning apology.
“After much thoughtful feedback from our diverse communities, honest conversations within the Dodgers organization and generous discussions with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Dodgers would like to offer our sincerest apologies to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, members of the LGBTQ+ community and their friends and families.”
“We have asked the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to take their place on the field at our 10th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night on June 16th. We are pleased to share that they are agreed to share the gratitude of our collective communities for the lifesaving work they have done tirelessly for decades.”
“In the weeks ahead, we will continue to work with our LGBTQ+ partners to better educate ourselves, find ways to strengthen the ties that bind and use our platform to support all of our fans who make up the diversity of the Dodger family.”
Really?
Well, the good news for Dodger fans is that you now know where you stand. Your team, or ex-team is letting you know that rather than honor “America’s Game,” or “The National Pastime,” as it is known, it has chosen to mock Christians. Don’t be fooled, yes these flamboyant clowns are dressed in the trappings of nuns, but they are really ridiculing any beliefs that don’t coincide with theirs.
I checked the schedule for these losers and their playing the Giants on June 16th. Too bad, I was hoping they were playing the “Padres” and would get a good symbolic butt kicking.
