“Thunder-Dolt” And Lightfoot Whine Like Costello Over Texas Governor Abbot
Outgoing Chicago Mayor, and Beetlejuice doppelganger Lori Lightfoot, decided last week to hang one more embarrassment on her resume. After openly bragging that Chicago was a sanctuary city open to all, she again complained to Texas Governor Gregg Abbott about sending illegal aliens there.
In her letter to Abbott she stated:
“Chicago is a welcoming City, and we collaborate with county, state, and community partners to rise to this challenge, but your lack of consideration or coordination in an attempt to cause chaos and score political points has resulted in a critical tipping point in our ability to receive individuals and families in a safe, orderly and dignified way. We simply have no more shelters, spaces, or resources to accommodate an increase of individuals at this level, with little coordination or care, that does not pose a risk to them or others.”
Lightfoot is another leftist Democrat that “has the talking part down,” but can’t execute. Imagine anyone making an argument as idiotic as this one. Texas and other border states have been overrun with Illegals since Biden took office, yet this imbecile wants to blame him for sending migrants to a “sanctuary City.”
As evidence for just how bad things are in Texas thanks to the migrant invasion, this is El Paso…
The ignorant soon to be “ex-mayor” then went on to write this:
“I know by your actions that you either do not see or do not care about the trauma these migrants have already faced and continue to suffer under the humanitarian crisis you have created, but I beseech you anyway, treat these individuals with the respect and dignity that they deserve. To tell them to go to Chicago or to inhumanely bus them here is an inviable and misleading choice.”
Really, Here’s a suggestion, Lori. Hop on your broom, fly to Washington DC and “beseech” your leftist meat puppet president Joe Biden, to protect the country and close the border. Stop blaming people that are stretched beyond their limits, and put the blame where it belongs.
Abbott responded to Lightfoot’s letter with one of his own. He reminded her that Texas finds itself on the frontlines of a disaster created by the Biden administration. He also reminded her that what was taking place isn’t a “Texas problem” but it represents a “problem for the entire United States.”
Abbott went on to write how ironic it was that a Mayor of a “sanctuary city” would:
“…complain about Chicago’s struggle to deal with a few thousand illegal immigrants, which is a fraction of the record-high numbers we deal with in Texas on a regular basis. Texas border towns like Eagle Pass, Brownsville, and Laredo and even bigger cities like El Paso, cannot handle the flood of illegal immigrants rushing across our southern border.”
He then asked Lightfoot a poignant question about the worsening situation, that thanks to Biden, his state is getting ready to face.
“Some reports indicate that there are nearly 35,000 waiting to cross into El Paso as soon as Title 42 expulsions are no longer in effect,” he added. “If Chicago can’t deal with 8,000 in less than a year, how are small Texas border communities supposed to manage 13,000 in just one day.?”
He then added, “illegal crossings will be accompanied by criminal activity, gang violence, and deadly drugs like fentanyl. These problems do not stay in border communities in Texas. They make their way all throughout the country, including to the streets of Chicago. Innocent Americans are put at risk every day by these open-border policies.”
Not wanting to miss an opportunity to be in the news, New York Mayor Eric Adams, jumped on board the “stupid train” playing one of every liberals favorite things, the race card.
Last Monday, Adam’s tweeted out that:
“Abbott is once again deciding to play politics with people’s lives by resuming the busing of asylum seekers to New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver and Washington, D.C.”
Last April, trying to provide relief to border towns, Abbott began bussing illegals to Washington, D.C. He later expanded the transfers to include Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia.
Adams added, “impossible to ignore the fact that Abbott is now targeting five cities run by Black mayors. Put plainly, Abbott is using this crisis to hurt, black-run cities.”
What Adams forgets to mention, is that last September another Democratic mayor of El Paso, Oscar Leeser and other city officials who are Hispanic, also approved a plan to send migrants to New York and Chicago. Since approximately 50 percent of them did not have money or anyone sponsoring them, they were helped to move north. Leeser sent over 10,700 to New York and over 3,200 to Chicago.
Last October, Adams asked Leeser and El Paso officials to stop sending migrants to New York. Although initially not agreeing to do so, the transfers conveniently stopped just in time for the mid-term elections. Curiously, at no time then or after meeting with Leeser and other Democratic officials in January did Adams play the race card and accuse one of his fellow Democrats of trying to “harm black run cities.”
On Sunday, sensing that he is sitting on another Biden ticking time bomb with Title 42 ending on May 11th, Leeser declared a state of emergency. There are thought to be around 40,000 illegals waiting to enter Texas. Included in Leeser’s declaration, he stated his intentions to begin once again sending migrants to the north. Funny, how after that was released, Adams chose to attack Governor Abbott a Republican, and not his Democrat comrade.
Mayors like Lightfoot, her replacement Brandon Johnson, Adams, and many other Democratic mayors have destroyed their cities with incompetence and liberal policies. They love to point fingers, blame Republicans, and never come close to actually solving anything.
Border security and national security go hand in hand. The sovereignty of any nation can’t be secured without it. Our borders are porous and leaving them as such doesn’t show compassion, it demonstrates deliberate treason.
