Amazon Thinks Every Kid’s Room Needs A Penis Sign
When my kids were living at home they both had fairly typical rooms. My son’s room was sports themed, since he played baseball, football and hockey and my daughters was more feminine, although she did have shelves with her softball trophies on them.
So imagine Haley Kennington’s surprise when she decided to look for some LED signs for her child’s room on Amazon and a “Lick Penis Neon Sign for Wall Decor Led Neon Light for Kids Room” came up in the search…
Yep, The description of the products says the products are “suitable for children’s room decoration.” Now call me old fashioned, but a neon sign that displays a hand around the base of a penis being licked by a tongue isn’t exactly the type of room décor that I would choose for my child’s room. Hell, I can remember when some people considered the famous Farrah Fawcett poster as racy and she was in a one-piece bathing suit.
Just to jam the point home, the sign was marketed with images of young women licking lollipops. Subtle right? Anyway, if you’re not into licking, but still like the idea of a penis adorning the walls of your children’s abode, you can also get a “Flying Penis Neon Sign.” That sign, which is literally a penis with wings, is also marketed as being “for kids” and contains the image of a young child grinning next to the sign.
The first thing I thought of is that if I was the parents of the grinning child, I would be looking into the possibility of a lawsuit for using my child’s image in that manner. There is probably small print on the contract that wont allow legal action, but I would be looking at every possibility.
Oh, not to be overshadowed with all the penises getting licked and flying around, you can also get a neon vulva sign, which for some reason was not marketed as being OK for kids.
All of the signs are under the “Cowboy Frog” brand, a Chinese firm that offers a large variety of signs, but who’s staple is frogs in cowboy hats and cowboy gear.
If your like me, nothing seems to surprise me anymore, but I haven’t allowed my sense of disgust and indignation to be diminished. I think if we need to cling to the feeling of being repulsed. If we lose that sense of outrage, the left will win. They will have numbed us to the point of submission and we cant allow that to happen.
If we concede our moral values we lose our foundation. The left would love to inundate the next generation with the belief that anything goes and everything is acceptable, …. but it isn’t. There are values that a civilized society is built on. If those are destroyed it breeds chaos and anarchy, the tools of the wicked, which the radical left embraces.
