Disgusting Punks Savagely Murder Cherished Swan Then Eat It

I’m going to be straight upfront here.  This story pisses me off.  In fact, it repulses me. First, the act itself is nauseating enough, but then the video of one of these wipes being arrested with a stupid sh*t eating grin on his face infuriates me. Lastly, the thought of some obnoxious liberal judge buying into the lies that they’re going to tell and giving them nothing more than a pat on the head is loathsome.

Manlius is a small town in upstate New York. It was the place where Faye and Manny, two beloved Mute swans resided. These were not just any swans; these swans were known throughout central New York. Last year WSYR-TV in Syracuse proclaimed: “Central New York loves Manny and Faye. You can see this dynamic duo in the Manlius Swan Pond off Fayette Street near the village offices.”

The pair and their predecessors, have been town mascots since swans were first introduced to the town in 1905. A Mute Swan is the elegant bird of Russian ballets and European fairy tales. This swan swims with its long neck curved into an S and often holds its wings raised slightly above its back. Although they’re numerous and familiar in city parks and in bays and lakes in the Pacific Northwest, Great Lakes, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic. Mute Swans are not native to North America. All of the Mute Swans in North America descended from swans imported from Europe from the mid-1800’s through early 1900s to adorn large estates, city parks, and zoos.

Mute Swans form long-lasting pair bonds. Their reputation for monogamy along with their elegant white plumage has helped establish them as a symbol of love in many cultures.

Faye and Manny lived peacefully in a fenced pond. Faye was nesting with four baby swans known as cygnets. After the Memorial Day parade some locals noticed that they couldn’t find Faye on the pond. They notified police who reviewed video footage and learned that the pair’s cygnets were also missing as well.

At a news conference last Wednesday, Police Sargent Ken Hatter delivered the horrific news.

“Three suspects, teens that are neighborhood friends and went to high school together hopped the Manlius Swan Pond fence between midnight and 3 a.m., Saturday into Sunday.”

The teens decapitated her with a knife and then took her carcass home. “They brought it back to an aunt’s house and the aunt prepared it.” Faye didn’t struggle or fight back because she was nesting,” Hatter explained.

Eighteen-year-old Eman Hussan and two other teens, ages 16 and 17, climbed the metal fence surrounding the pond and climbed inside the preserve on Monday.

The punks later lied claiming that they were “hunting.”

Hatter said, “They did not know that it was a swan, and they did not know that it was not a wild animal, that it was actually owned by the Village of Manlius.”

Right, they were hunting wild animals inside a fenced pond. Three kids in high school think a swan is a wild animal. Give me a break.

Hatter, who at times sounds like an apologist for these three added, “They believed it was just a very large duck. They did not know it was a swan. They did not have any idea of the significance that the swans had on this community.”

A beam of light cutting through this gloom, is that all four cygnets were recovered alive and have been placed in the care of the biologist tasked with ensuring the health and well-being of the swans for the village.

Eman Hussan, 18, of Syracuse, and the two juveniles, who are unnamed because they are minors, have been charged with two felonies, third-degree grand larceny and second-degree criminal mischief, as well as two misdemeanors: fifth-degree conspiracy and third-degree criminal trespass. The Department of Environmental Conservation will hopefully bring additional charges.

Manlius Mayor Paul Whorrall lamented the fact that “The swans have been a part of this village for well over a hundred years, we’re known for our swans.”

In fact, the swans are so much a part of the town that they are part of the insignia. Which by the way, are hung all over town. So for these wannabe thugs to  say that they weren’t aware of what a swan is, proves that they are nothing but low life liars.

Their deed is despicable. They massacred then ate a defenseless swan that was nesting with its four babies. They are smug liars that are grinning from ear to ear. They are counting on liberals to ruffle their hair and set them free based on a less than feeble excuse.

Serial killers often start by killing animals. Most start in the shadows with neighborhood cats, rabbits, etc. These monsters deliberately chose a beloved, very public kill. They are laughing in the face of not just authority, but also moral decency, tradition, and the calming effect that innocent beauty can have on society.

They are demented and sick.  They will kill again.  Write it down.
