The Daily Wire Civil War: Candace Owens vs Ben Shapiro
A civil war is brewing within The Daily Wire. Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro is now at odds publicly with Candace Owens–who is a political show host on The Daily Wire.
Ben Shapiro has come under public scrutiny following a viral video of Shapiro criticizing Candance Owens. The video below emerged online earlier this week and went viral on both Tik Tok and Twitter (a.k.a. X)
In this viral video, Shapiro criticized Conservative political commentator Candace Owens for her comments regarding the Palestine-Israel conflict. In fact, Shapiro called Candace “disgraceful” for her “faux-sophistication” on the Palestine-Israel conflict.
For reference, Candance Owens joined the The Daily Wire‘s lineup in 2020 and currently hosts a show called the Candace Owens podcast on YouTube and The Daily Wire website.
It’s rich for Ben Shapiro to whine about Candance Owens’s opinions on foreign policy since Shapiro became famous in the 2010s as the “facts and logic” Conservative. Clearly, Shapiro does not believe that “facts don’t care about your feelings” anymore based on his comments toward Owens. Instead of respectfully disagreeing with Owens’s positions, he immediately went to name-calling one of his fellow Daily Wire hosts in a public setting.
Certainly, not everyone is buying Ben Shapiro’s grift anymore. Many social media users are already calling out Ben Shapiro for his two-faced behavior both in this instance and in the past.
Just remember, Ben Shapiro was a huge Never-Trumper back in 2016 and was ready to dump President Trump for the DeSantis train last year until the DeSantis hype fizzled out. He also called skeptics of the COVID-19 vaccine “dopes” and has mocked the Lord Jesus Christ online. Shapiro does not boast the strongest track record when it comes to his political views–especially when one considers his past rhetoric as a warmongering Neo-con and his previous support for the Iraq war.

While Candance did not directly respond to this situation, it’s fairly obvious that she and Shapiro are not on good terms. In fact, the Gateway Pundit reported that Candace and Shapiro stopped following each other on Twitter (a.k.a. X).
We all should wait to to see how this Candace vs. Shapiro situation pans out. With millions of followers on multiple platforms, Candace Owens is one of the most popular political pundits in the Conservative sphere, and the resolution of this conflict may have major ramifications on the Conservative media sphere.
Regardless, America First patriots should respect and defend Candace Owens against the baseless attacks coming from “America Last” Conservative Ben Shapiro.
