Freeze Frame: Cold Weather Shuts Down EV’s

The Biden administrations pipe dream of having all electric cars on the road between 2030-2035 is evaporating faster than Lock Ness monster stories. The leftists that are pushing this fairy tale have known all along that there isn’t a chance in hell that it was ever going to happen. Still, the financial reconstruction that will take place globally is worth the deception. This scam, if allowed to continue, will make the covid “plandemic” look like a day in the park.

If you look past the fact that the cars are too expensive for most Americans, ignore the child labor involved in mining the necessary components, ignore the fires that can spontaneously break out that destroy the vehicles then all you have to do is keep the battery charged.

Since there are not anywhere near enough charging stations, and the ones that do exist are not what you would call readily available or dependable, you have to seriously ask yourself, why would anyone even consider buying one? I live in Florida and I although I personally have never evacuated during a hurricane, I like you have seen the bumper to bumper gridlock on major interstate highways. Just imagine if all of those cars were electric. Thousands of people would be stranded and thousands of cars would be abandoned. The very thought of it boggles the mind.

During this current influx of frigid weather, the “EV Titanic” hit another iceberg. Just focusing on Chicago, dozens of Tesla owners were stranded in the middle of the blizzard after the batteries in their EV’s had died. One stranded motorist, Brandon Welbourne, told CBS news that:

“I’ve been here for over five hours at this point, and I still have not gotten to charge my car. A charge that should take 45 minutes is taking two hours.”

CBS also reported on long lines at charging stations, that either didn’t work or would take hours to charge. Another motorist told Fox Business a similar story. Tyler Beard stated:

“Nothing. No juice. Still on zero percent, and this is like three hours being out here after being out here three hours yesterday.”

The New York Times reported this story:

With Chicago temperatures sinking below zero, electric vehicle charging stations have become scenes of desperation: depleted batteries, confrontational drivers and lines stretching out onto the street.

“When it’s cold like this, cars aren’t functioning well, chargers aren’t functioning well, and people don’t function so well either,” said Javed Spencer, an Uber driver who said he had done little else in the last three days besides charge his rented Chevy Bolt and worry about being stranded with a dead battery, … again.

Mr. Spencer, 27, said he set out on Sunday for a charging station with 30 miles left on his battery. Within minutes, the battery was dead. He had to have the car towed to the station.

“When I finally plugged it in, it wasn’t getting any charge,” he said. Recharging the battery, which usually takes Mr. Spencer an hour, took five hours.

AAA found that cold temperatures can reduce an electric vehicle’s range by more than 40 percent especially when drivers are using interior heaters. So, if you’re going to drive a Tesla during the winter months, you need to bring along extra gloves, a scarf, mittens, and a blanket.

I believe that EV’s will be extinct before they are even generally accepted. Rational thought dictates that this is nothing more than an elaborate hoax. For all of you out there that think your car is running on renewable energy, think again. Charging stations are powered by whatever the power grid runs on, which might include oil, coal, or natural gas. So the electricity that you are charging your car with is more than likely being generated by things that you have been fooled into believing are so harmful.

Many major car dealerships are refusing to sell EV’s, and just last week, Hertz reduced their EV fleet of rentals by 20,000 vehicles. Used EV’s are also the worst selling cars at most dealerships. These are all warning signs that American citizens need to pay attention to. Otherwise, you may be driving the Biden administration’s equivalent of the Dodo Bird.
