The Left Once Again Shows Their Fear Of God

I think it’s more than safe to say that the left hates God. A group that condones everything anti-Christian and expects everyone to tolerate it and refuses to allow free speech or the thoughts of anyone else. Many times, hatred is born out of fear. It’s easier for most people to display hatred than to admit fear. I believe that the left’s open demonstration of hatred for prayer or anything to do with God, is born out of their fear. If people are free to pursue and understand the teaching of God as a divine being, teaching that represents order and common sense, it undermines every aspect of the left’s radical ideals.

The left feels as though they have the right to snuff out even the simplest and harmless of Christian beliefs. How many coaches have we heard of that were fired for praying either before or after a game. Men and women that were asking for protection of the children involved and/or giving thanks for the competition. I have my own beliefs about prayer. I see prayer as personal reflection between an individual and the source of everything. Praying is not practicing a particular type of religion so how can those personal moments of reflection be outlawed? Especially when the sentiments involved are of a good nature, not seeking harm or passing judgement.

Case in point, a kindergarten teacher in Decatur Mississippi is in trouble because she had the outlandish idea to say a little prayer with some of her students before they had lunch. What was this dastardly prayer that the teacher would recite? Well, it’s one that most of us have all heard and said ourselves.

God is Great, God is Good;
Let us thank Him for our food.
By His hands we all are fed,
Give us Lord our Daily Bread.
Amen.

Wow, can you imagine teaching a child to be thankful for the food they receive? Yes, I’m aware that God was mentioned in the prayer, so to the left mentioning that name outweighs the lesson of teaching young children to be appreciative of what they receive.

That news set off a radical parent who then reached out to the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF). In case you’re not familiar with this group of God hating atheists, they have their wretched fingers in everything. Anytime religion is involved in any public matter, these fools get involved. They are as much publicity hounds as they are haters of truth.

The Wisconsin-based gang of atheists fired off a letter to the district ordering them to cease with the prayers.

“Additionally, in late November, the teacher taught kindergarten students that God has a naughty and nice list, just like Santa Claus, and that students have to be good in order to stay on God’s nice list. FFRF’s complainant told the organization that they were “very angry and disturbed that someone in an authoritative position over 5-year-olds was pushing their own thoughts and beliefs on kindergarteners as truth.”

FFRF’s Sammi Lawrence wrote, “The district has an obligation to ensure that its teachers are not misusing their positions to indoctrinate students.”

Students have the First Amendment right to be free from religious indoctrination in their public schools. When a kindergarten teacher abuses their position to coerce young students to pray and promotes their personal religious beliefs in the classroom, that teacher violates students’ First Amendment right to freedom of conscience. Additionally, parents have the constitutional right to determine their child’s religious or nonreligious upbringing. This teacher violated the trust that FFRF’s complainant and all other parents place in district teachers to follow the Constitution and refrain from imposing their own religious beliefs on children they teach.

Naturally, once the Newton County School District heard about the horrible deed, they folded like a cheap suit.

“We assure you that steps are being taken to prevent incidents described in your letter in the future,” Superintendent Tyler C. Hansford wrote back. “Our district remains committed to upholding the constitutional rights of all of our students, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity, and respecting the diverse beliefs within our community.”

It’s sickening that the same people that demand we accept that a man that thinks he can be a woman and vice versa is gospel, but saying a prayer of thanks is criminal.

It’s also repulsive that so many of those in authority buckle to the tyranny of the ignorant. Until that changes, the future will remain in doubt.
