Adventures in Clown World: February 2024

We’re back with another edition of the “Adventures in Clown World” series here on RVIVR! There’s never a boring month here in the “Clown World” that we’re all living in, so let’s check into three ridiculous news stories from this past month.

1. Dangerous Chemical in Cheerios & Quaker Oats?

Americans suffer from a cacophony of health problems–from childhood obesity to infertility in adults, One of the most significant causes of Americans’ poor health is the food supply. Large food companies are lightly regulated in the United States, and they feed are nation with unnatural, unhealthy food products.

Earlier this month, a recent study from the Environmental Working Group (EWG) revealed that popular food brands Cheerios and Quaker Oats contain a dangerous pesticide. This pesticide is linked to fertility and puberty issues in animals, so this study presents a highly alarming finding.

2. Trump off the Illinois primary ballot?

Yesterday, a partisan Far-Left Illinois judge decided to remove President Trump off the state’s Republican presidential primary ballot. Illinois holds its primary elections for the Republican party on March 19th.

Illinois is not the first state to attempt such a blatantly tyrannical, “banana-republic”-style action against President Trump. Twoother states–Colorado and Maine–have also attempted to remove President Trump from the ballot. Various elected officials and judges from these states have justified their deeply disturbing actions by appropriating the “insurrection clause” of the 14th Amendment.

3. High inflation still on the Horizon

High inflation has been a persistent issue for the US Economy. During the Biden administration, inflation soared in 2021 and 2022, and high levels of inflation are still continuing going into 2024. For the month of January 2024, prices have increased by 3.1% according to the Consumer Price Index (CPI). In all honesty, inflation is likely way higher than what the Federal government admits due to the way the Bureau of Labor Statistics calculates the CPI, but that’s a different story.

Regardless, high inflation is likely here to stay, and that means high interest rates are here to stay. Only in “Clown World” would we say the catastrophic monetary and fiscal policies that the Federal Government has undertaken over the past 4 years.

Anyways, I hope everyone enjoyed the latest edition of “Adventures in Clown World”! Take care and God Bless!
