The Biden Police State Turns on Its Own: The FBI Targets Mayor Eric Adams
Police states never stop with their political opponents. While the abuses of of power that we see in nearly every totalitarian country often starts with the political opponents of those in control, eventually the machine usually turns on its own.
No city has been harder hit by the failed immigration policies of the incompetent Biden administration than New York City. The city that never sleeps has seen millions of illegal immigrants overrun hospitals and suck up necessary and critical resources for while over a year now. The situation has gotten so bad that even Democratic Mayor Eric Adams has spoken up repeatedly and forcibly on the need to control the flow of illegal immigrants to save the city. Adams has offered scathing criticism of both President Biden and the current governor of New York, Kathleen Hochul. The mayor also recently stated that the city will need $4.6 billion to cover half of the expenses of illegal immigrants in the city for just one year.
The Biden police state took swift and ruthless action against the Democratic mayor soon after he spoke out against the failed policies of the current administration. The FBI raided Mayor Adams chief fundraiser’s home and also seized the mayor’s phone and tablets in early November, less than two months after the Democratic leader spoke out against the failed President and his dangerous policies. Even worse than the use these pathetic tactics of the incompetent current administration, most Democrats and members of the corrupt national media have also stayed quiet as this obvious and disgusting abuse of power continues. The FBI doesn’t officially comment on ongoing investigations, but, of course, the story leaked to the New York Times that the mayor was being investigated for allegedly getting money for his campaign from the Turkish government in exchange for currying political flavors. The absurd additional allegation that was made public just this past week was that the mayor received an upgrade on his airline tickets to Turkey for free. Adams has denied all of allegations.
The playbook the corrupt FBI is using with Adams is the same pathetic one this broken law enforcement organization has been using against conservatives for years. In just the last 8 years we have seen the incompetent FBI target pro-life advocates by conducting raids on their homes with with high powered weaponry, target moms speaking out against school boards, and also refuse to arrest individuals who were protesting at the homes of Supreme Court Justices. While most of the rank and file at the FBI are good people, the leadership of the institution is clearly corrupt and incompetent.
One of the most famous quotes that was spoken about the Nazis came from the Pastor Martin Niemoller. He said about the Nazis, “First they came for the communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Catholic. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up.” The Biden police state and the failed administration’s use of gestapo tactics should be alarming to all American regardless of their political beliefs.
