D.C. Board Of Elections Teaches Illegals How To Vote

From our earliest years, we’ve been taught that voting is the pinnacle of our citizenship. We also learned the importance of border security. As Ronald Reagan once said, “A nation that cannot control its borders is not a nation.” When pondered, these two fundamental aspects of citizenship reveal themselves as undeniable truths.

Every country in the world does everything in its power to protect its borders. Protecting entry into a country ensures the stabilization of population growth and encourages those entering to assimilate with existing values.

However, the left has no intention of safeguarding our country. They have abandoned those two bedrock issues. The puppets controlling Biden have left our borders wide open and they have destroyed the sanctity of our elections. Stating the truth about the 2020 election is not election-denying; it is simply stating the truth in an attempt to prevent our nation from falling into third-world status.

Yet the left’s attacks are endless. On April 10, last month, the D.C. Board of Elections held an event called “Non-Citizen Voting Education Virtual Training.” 

Let that sink in. In our nation’s capital, they are holding seminars teaching non-citizens how to vote. Judicial Watch obtained 13 pages of the training session’s PowerPoint presentation through a request under the Freedom of Information Act. On one slide, the presentation says:

“Non-U.S. citizen residents can vote in District elections for the offices of Mayor, Attorney General, Chairman or member(s) of the D.C. Council, member(s) of the State Board of Education, or Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner(s) Non-U.S. citizen residents cannot vote for Federal Offices.”

The District of Columbia, along with local governments in California, Maryland, and Vermont, allows foreign citizens to vote in local elections. At the same time, federal law permits only U.S. citizens to vote in federal elections.

News of the training session held by the D.C. Board of Elections comes as House Republicans are pushing a bill with the backing of Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La.—that would require proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote.

The District of Columbia amended its election code last year to allow noncitizens, including illegal immigrants, to vote for local D.C. offices. 

Democrats have long sought to change election laws for political advantage, mimicking tactics used by historical political machines.

The District’s presentation states that the qualifications for non-citizens to vote are:

“To register to vote in the District of Columbia as a non-citizen, you must: Be at least 17 years old and 18 years old by the next General Election; Maintain residency in the District of Columbia for at least 30 days prior to the election in which you intend to vote; Not claim voting residence or the right to vote in any state, territory, or country; Not been found by a court to be legally incompetent to vote.”

Besides allowing illegals and non-citizens to vote with only these comical requirements needing to be met, how can a 17-year-old vote if American citizens must be 18 or older?

Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton agrees stating:

“Illegal aliens and noncitizens should not vote in any elections. That Congress allows the votes of citizens to be legally stolen by illegal aliens in our nation’s capital is inexcusable.”

Not surprisingly, when the Daily Signal Reached out for a comment, they received no response from the D.C. Board of Elections or Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser.

This is beyond a disgrace. This borders on treason. The Democrats are trying to stack the deck, and they are using the same illegals that they are allowing to overrun the border to do it. With every day that passes, the Democratic party is proving that they are not fit to govern anywhere in this nation.
