New Star Wars Series Slides Into The Black Hole Of Disney’s Toilet

Remember when movies were entertaining? Remember when we had a choice of good films? I’ll admit that remembering those days is getting harder and harder. For the last several years, “Hollow Wood” has become totally dominated by the woke left, and they are unable to make films where their narcissism doesn’t come blaring through.

Today, every movie, TV show, and even TV commercial must contain certain criteria. Those criteria are interracial couples, lesbians, homosexuals, transgenders, or a mix of every conceivable racial group of people. For instance, every group of friends in a typical commercial will include a black, an Asian, a Latino, an Indian, and possibly a white. Although unrealistic, it’s deliberately done in an attempt to show inclusion.

The demented minds in “Hollow Wood” and TV executives are turning people off from their products. People want to be entertained, not lectured to or groomed, and one of the worst offenders is Disney. I feel bad for old Walt. He was a man who believed in the magic and mythical aspects of wonder. Unfortunately, his life’s work has been trashed by the madness of the left. I’m betting that Walt is spinning in his grave like he’s on a rotisserie, slowly roasting over a woke fire.

The latest victim of the Disney cartel is the Star Wars franchise. Even knowing that it has a huge following of dedicated fans, the left couldn’t resist ruining a great thing. Their agenda will not let them stop. They are unconscionable in their pursuit of woke madness, and they don’t care who or what they destroy.

Even more infuriating is the refusal of those responsible to accept blame for the destruction. Instead, they blame the same fans who have made the franchises successful.

Lucas film president Kathleen Kennedy stated that the backlash against the existence of “The Acolyte” is not due to Star Wars fans’ current fatigue with the franchise’s focus on identity politics but rather the misogynistic attitudes of its primarily male fan base.

Kennedy defended the green-lighting of the Leslye Headland-helmed series when speaking to The New York Times Brook Barnes to promote its upcoming premiere.

When Barnes asked her if she had any thoughts on the widespread disgust felt by fans that “The Acolyte” would be yet another “message first, entertainment second” project from the collapsing Disney castle, she stated, “My belief is that storytelling does need to be representative of all people. That’s an easy decision for me.”

Really? If it’s an easy decision not to represent everyone, why abandon the ones who made the franchise successful? Kennedy is nothing more than another leftist liar who contradicts herself at every turn. She couldn’t care less about the debris she leaves in her wake.

“Operating within these giant franchises now, with social media and the level of expectation, it’s terrifying. I think showrunner Leslye Headland has struggled a little bit with it. I think a lot of the women who step into “Star Wars” struggle with this a bit more. Because of the fan base being so male dominated, they sometimes get attacked in ways that can be quite personal.”

Headland told Barnes, “As a fan myself, I know how frustrating some Star Wars storytelling in the past has been. I’ve felt it myself.”

Huh?

What cluster of idiots would put someone in charge of a supremely successful franchise who openly states that she is frustrated with its storytelling themes?

After the interview ended, Headland sent a text to Barnes expanding on her stupidity. Once again, blaming the fans for not liking a movie that sucks instead of accusing them of bigotry, racism, and hatred.

“I stand by my empathy for Star Wars fans. But I want to be clear. Anyone who engages in bigotry, racism, or hate speech, I don’t consider a fan.”

Disney, at this point, is a lost cause. Their ignorance shows no sign of receding as they are again attacking the public for not liking their horrible products. They recently banned the Tinkerbell character from their parks because they believe her petite figure may cause body shaming.

So, Disney is now against petite, attractive women and making watchable movies and TV shows. I think it’s time we leave Disney in our rearview mirror instead of them doing it to us.
