Adventures in Clown World: June 2024
Hello and welcome to the June 2024 edition of the “Adventures in Clown World” series here on RVIVR.
June was an interesting month politically with the 2024 presidential election on the horizon. Consequently, this month’s edition is going to focus primarily on some of the recent “Clown world” stories in the American political arena.
#1 Democrats FREAK OUT over Biden’s disastrous debate performance
Last night, Joe Biden and President Donald Trump debated each other in the 1st presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle. If you watched the debate, then you likely witnessed on the worst debate meltdowns in American presidential history.
Throughout the debate, Biden displayed his rapid cognitive decline. He continually stumbled on his words and struggled to finish his sentences during the debate.
According to CNN‘s flash poll after the debate, a vast majority of debate viewers disapproved of Biden’s atrocious debate performance. Similarly, public sentiment on the betting markets also soured on Biden’s chances of winning the 2024 presidential election.
After the debate, the far-left political commentators on CNN and MSNBC freaked out over Biden’s debate performance. Anderson Cooper, Chris Wallace, and other leftist commentators emphatically panned Biden’s poor performance. In fact, Democrat party insiders are now contemplating whether the Democrat party should replace Biden as its presidential nominee.
All is not well in the Biden camp. Going forward, we will to continue to monitor the situation regarding Biden’s future as the Democrat party’s presidential nominee.
#2 AOC’s goofy dance at Jamaal Bowman rally
Last weekend. infamous Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez embarrassed herself at a political rally in New York. At this event, AOC took the stage and spoke at a rally on behalf of fellow “squad member” Jamaal Bowman.
AOC went viral after she started doing a cringey dance onstage while a profane Cardi B song played in the background.
After the rally, incumbent Congressman Jamaal Bowman lost in his Democrat primary to well-funded primary challenge George Latimer in the most expensive Congressional primary in US history. So clearly, AOC’s awkward dance moves didn’t do much to help her Congressional colleague Jamaal Bowman.
#3 The Supreme Court demolishes the 1st Amendment
The US Supreme Court dealt a major blow to free speech rights following its decision on the Murthy v. Missouri case. In a 6-3 decision, the US Supreme Court ruled that the plaintiffs in this case “lacked standing” in suing the Federal Government over alleged social media censorship. Therefore, the Court is essentially allowing the Federal government to continue its well-documented practice of coercing social media companies to censor political dissent on social media.
In this case, the plaintiffs accused the US Federal Government for suppressing numerous social media posts during 2020 related to vaccines, COVID-19 policy, the Hunter Biden laptop, and other controversial topics.
However, Supreme Court justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, and Neil Gorsuch dissented to the majority opinion. Here is an excerpt from the dissenting opinion:
“When the White House pressured Facebook to amend some of the policies related to speech in which Hines engaged, those amendments necessarily impacted some of Facebook’s censorship decisions … Nothing more is needed.”
Constitutional lawyer Jonathan Turley recently made an appearance on Fox News explaining the consequences of this Supreme Court decision.
Undoubtedly, the US Supreme Court made a disastrous decision here, and we now have to deal with the consequences of the American Regime’s continued encroachment of our free speech rights on social media platforms.
