Happy “Heterosexual Awesomeness Month”

I’ve never quite understood the logistics of celebrating an entire month for small percentages of the population while shunning the majority of the people. I know some people will take this wrong, but why do we have a black history month and not a white history month? While we are asking questions, why is it considered wrong to even ask that?

You see, I’m not saying that it’s wrong to have a black history month. What I am saying is, why can’t we also have a white history month? The black population makes up approximately 13 percent of American citizens. If their accomplishments are celebrated, why can’t those of white citizens, who make up the largest percentage of the American population, be celebrated as well?

Likewise, why is it considered reasonable to celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month, which the majority of citizens consider to be reprehensible and abnormal, but not Heterosexual Pride Month, which the majority of Americans practice and rightly believe is normal?

It gets very tiring hearing about how the LGBTQ community keeps screaming that the sky is falling and how they are persecuted. When in reality, no one is persecuting them. There is a HUGE difference between persecution and protection. It’s the LGBTQ community that continues to try and indoctrinate our children with drag queens, age-inappropriate books in school libraries, ridiculous pronouns, and, even more horrifying, the denial of science that there are only two genders. Parents and everyday citizens are fed up with the constant bombardment of unsavory and immoral practices. The LGBTQ community is not under attack. They are the aggressors, trying to disguise themselves as victims so they can continue their assault.

June has been declared by the woke left to be LGBTQ Pride Month. However, if put to a vote, does anyone think that anywhere near a majority of voters would agree to this farce? The truth is that most Americans tolerate this rainbow clown show, which is totally different from agreeing with it.

In Idaho, there is a popular saloon and restaurant facing backlash from Alphabet Activists after the owner announced that June would be “Heterosexual Awesomeness Month.”

The saloon posted this message on Facebook:

“Come join us all month to celebrate heterosexuals. For without them, none of us would be here. Each Monday will be Hetero Male Monday, and any heterosexual male dressed like a heterosexual male will receive a free draft beer.”

Michael Deeds, a writer for the Idaho Statesman, criticized the saloon in a scathing article. He described it as “extremist” and “the last bar on Earth I’d ever want to drink a pint.”

Well, here is a bulletin for Deeds; no one wants to drink a pint with a small-minded whiner like you. As if that wasn’t enough of a moronic comment, you removed all doubt by continuing.

“How exactly does a customer dress like a heterosexual male.”

Like your woke compadres that can’t define a woman, I’m willing to bet that you really don’t know how to dress like a heterosexual male.

To attract even more business, the Old State Saloon announced that on Wednesdays, heterosexual couples will get 15 percent off their bill, and on Thursdays, heterosexual ladies will be treated to free brews.

These common-sense declarations really triggered Deeds. He declared:

“Old State Saloon is promoting intolerance. It’s putting the “trans” in transparent bigotry. This marketing gimmick is an insecure reaction to LGBTQ+ Pride Month, the annual celebration for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender pride in June.”

Much too intricate for Deeds to understand is the fact that it is the LGBTQ community who are the ones being exclusive, not inclusive. Their intolerance of any other lifestyle choices is blatantly obvious. They need to understand that heterosexuals do not need to accept and certainly do not need to accommodate them. They are an alternative lifestyle that is being tolerated. The Old State Saloon is promoting equality, not intolerance.

If anyone is engaged in intolerance, it’s the creators of LGBTQ+ Pride Month. They’re celebrating everyone except straight people. In contrast, the Old State Saloon is inviting everyone to celebrate.

They posted this on Facebook:

“We hear lots of people are upset about Heterosexual Awesomeness Month. Please know we love our LGBTQ+ patrons! We will not be changing our mind and give into the group of those who are responding with vitriol. ALL are welcome to come celebrate heterosexuality with us in June!”

Mark Fitzpatrick owns Old State Saloon and has stated that the Deed’s opinion will not change his beliefs.

“Idaho Statesman writes a hit piece on me and Old State Saloon and doesn’t even have the courage to call me for a quote. Michael Deeds is a decently talented writer. Too bad so much of it is just so immoral. Viewer discretion advised.”

“For the record, I love all types of people, including the LGBTQ+ crowd. I sincerely wish they all knew Jesus as their savior.”

For anybody who is in the neighborhood, if you are wearing a holstered firearm and stop by the saloon on a Saturday, your second cup of coffee is free. Fitzpatrick calls it Open Carry Coffee.

This place is Great.
