Organized Debauchery, Pimps, And Prostitutes Unionized In Belgium
Sigh… You have to wonder where this all will end. Schools indoctrinate students instead of teaching them and are encouraged by liberal officials to hide their actions from their parents. Meanwhile, woke parents suffering from Munchhausen by Proxy motivate their own children to mutilate themselves. The same children that won’t be allowed to choose a bedtime.
Moral values are disappearing rapidly. Whenever a precedent of depravity is instituted and accepted, humanity draws closer to choosing its end. Societies cannot exist without the structure of moral decency. Anarchy thrives on the chaos that the left is initiating, and without boundaries of behavior, mankind is on a short leash.
Enter Belgium, which recently passed a law that allows sex workers to be treated as government-contracted employees and to receive health insurance, pensions, and other benefits similar to those of regular jobs.
Euro News reported that:
“The legislation, which was approved with 93 votes in favor, 33 abstentions and 0 votes against earlier this month, allows procurers to provide Belgian sex workers with an employment contract for the first time.”
“The change gives sex workers access to social security provisions such as pensions, health insurance, and annual vacation. It also gives sex workers protection from work-related risks, including implementing standards on who can become an employer.”
However, the law allows pimps to force a government arbiter to intervene if the prostitute/sex worker refuses to have enough sex within a set period of time.
The Publica explained:
“Prostitutes are to be granted “rights” to refuse sexual acts, stop sexual acts, perform sexual acts in the manner they prefer, and refuse to sit behind Amsterdam-style windows (public-facing windows where prostitutes are on display). However, should a prostitute use these “rights” 10 times within six months, their pimp can then call on a government mediator to intervene.
“All pimps must have a registered office and apply to the Belgian government for approval to offer contracts to prostitutes. The contracts will be disguised as hotel-restaurant-café (HoReCa) contracts so that prostitutes can remain anonymous.”
The Belgium Union of Sex Workers (UTSOPI) lists its Mission and Vision as:
UTSOPI is the Belgian Union of Sex Workers. We are governed by sex workers and run together with allies. We strive for agency, autonomy, and rights. More rights mean more choices. We strive for independence: the independence of our choices, our bodies, and our lives.
The group heavily lobbied the government to pass this legislation and touted the bill on its website as “necessary for a good balance and a respectful, fair relationship between sex worker and employer.”
A spokesperson for the group, Daan Bauwens, told The Telegraph:
“Belgium is really demonstrating that it aims to protect sex workers, regardless of any moral judgments about the profession people may have. The bill also only covers physical sexual contact. Porn, striptease, and webcam are therefore not covered by this law.”
Andrea Heinz advocates against prostitution. She criticized the law, posting on X:
“There is little chance this will (actually) favor women. Under legalization/full decriminalized, pimps become ‘managers’ with the backing of the state to further entrench and maintain their power. Pimps see women they sell as products, not people deserving of full dignity & respect.”
You have to step back and really think about what is happening here. Has society really descended to the level where we are discussing this type of degradation as being respectful? Belgium has passed a labor law for employment contracts for prostitutes/sex workers. “Under the law, if a [woman] refuses a [buyer] more than ten times over six months, a pimp can trigger an intervention by a government mediator but cannot sack the employee.”
So, if a prostitute doesn’t fulfill her sexual obligations, her pimp can call the government to help straighten her out. Hmm, this doesn’t sound like respect to me.
Congratulations, Belgium. You have just become the first country not only to condone but also enable the loss of self-respect and moral decency. You are not only propagating prostitution; you are empowering and, in some sense, glorifying pimps.
Well done, Belgium, for striving to become a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah.
