Hard Truths: The Celebration Of Both Beauty And Women Are Disintegrating
Beauty pageants, a long-standing tradition, have often been met with skepticism. They were once perceived as mere exploitation, a platform to judge women solely on their physical appearance. While this perception may have held some truth, itโs crucial to reevaluate our stance in the current era of gender dynamics.
Some find the truth difficult to accept. The truth is that some women and some men are just better-looking than others. But this doesnโt diminish the worth of anyone as a complete person. An individual’s greatness is not based on their looks but on their character, achievements, and societal contributions. That doesnโt mean that we can’t have an avenue to celebrate their physical attributes.
ย Consider the myriad of other competitions that our society embraces. Just recently, we celebrated a new spelling bee champion, a testament to one’s ability to study and recall complex and rarely used words. We have competitions for math, science, bowling, dart-throwing, and even food-eating. In this context, why should beauty pageants be viewed any differently?
Consider this: every sport is a competition, yet when the term โpageantโ is associated with a contest based on physical beauty, it’s often looked down upon. But why? Aren’t they all competitions in their own right?
I find it strange that both men and women can compete in bodybuilding competitions where all they do is pose and are judged strictly on their bodies, but a pageant where beautiful women are similarly judged is seen as shallow. For those of you who would argue that more work is put in by bodybuilders, I would ask, are you sure? The women in pageants work very hard as well, they just donโt workout in the same way. They are not trying to bulk up and define individual muscle groups. They are looking to remain lean, which means they work hard but in a different manner.
Thatโs why what happened this week in two different pageants is disgraceful and really reflects negatively on our society.
First, in Maryland, a biological man was awarded the Miss Maryland USA title. This imposter, who goes by the name of Bailey Anne Kennedy, is a 31-year-old โmilitary officerโs wife.โ
Kennedyโs Instagram account states that he is involved with the U.S. military’s United Service Organizations (USO), a Department of Defense entity that aims to boost troop morale and promote positive feelings about the U.S. military. Kennedy’s Instagram account features several mentions of the USO and military imagery, including photos with what seems to be his spouse wearing a U.S. Navy uniform.
U.S. military leaders have been criticized in multiple congressional hearings for allegedly harming troop morale and recruitment by involving drag performers in military public relations. U.S. Representative Jim Banks, a Navy Reserve officer from Indiana who is running for an open U.S. Senate seat, claims that military personnel even lied to Congress about these programs.
Contestants who win pageants like Miss USA and separate Miss America franchises often interact with children. They are given opportunities to speak at public events such as charity fundraisers, local and state fairs, and civic events. This means that every time liberals exploit their perverse sense of inclusivity, the perversion is exposed to children.
Unlike bodybuilding competitions, the competitors in Miss USA, which is more of a modeling competition, and Miss America, which is more of a scholarship and career competition, speak with the judges about their goals. Both competitions partner with pageants for girls as young as age 4. The adult pageant winnersโ โmentorโ these young women. So, they are clearly role models for these young girls, so it is very important who they are. That said, A man pretending to be a woman can not be the proper role model.
Leftist disruption took an entirely different form in Alabama. There, the left placed beauty and fitness in the crosshairs where the newly crowned Miss Alabama is, to put it mildly, is morbidly obese. Sarah Milliken hasnโt pushed away from a table of food, maybe ever was chosen as the stateโs representative in the National American Miss pageant.
Pageant officials claim they want to foster a โpositive self-image by enhancing the natural beauty within.โ That’s nice, but it isnโt what this competition is about. The left struggles with common sense. These other women have worked very hard to stay in physical shape, and Iโm sure many of them are just as beautiful on the inside as Milliken. However, the judges, who knew very well that she should never have entered the competition, rewarded her and disregarded the hard work of the other competitors.
All the judges accomplished by doing this was glorifying morbid obesity. Still, do you think they care? Nope. As long as they can promote an agenda of chaos, they are content, no matter how dangerous the signals they are sending to society overall. In this case, you have to wonder if it wasnโt implied well before the contest that an outcome like this might be forthcoming. Otherwise, why would Milliken even enter?
Where is the outrage from women across the country? The woke liberals are literally attacking everything about biological females. By allowing men to enter Womenโs sports or pageant competitions, they are doing a horrific injustice to real women.
On the other hand, why is it considered such a bad thing to appreciate the natural beauty of biological women who have been blessed with physical attractiveness? Milliken may be a lovely person, but there are thousands of lovely people who have not received the blessing of physical beauty; these competitions are not for them.
All that happened in these two competitions is that the real competitors were robbed. A man should not be in any competition designed for biological women. Likewise, in a competition for women where body sculpting is important, someone built like a refrigerator should not win.
The left has only proved in these two situations that DEI is a failure. No matter how hard they insist, not everyone should be included in everything. People are different; thatโs what makes the world go around.
Stop trying to pound square pegs into round holes.
