Unbelievable Brainwashing Of Pre-K Students
Portland, like other radicalized cities in America, loves to indoctrinate its school systems with woke, heavily left-wing lies. The agenda that they push covers a variety of fronts, and since last Octoberโs attack by Hamas, denigrating Israel & promoting Palestine has become a priority.
Portland, Oregon, is one of the many armpits of woke ideology. Seizing any excuse to advance their agenda, they use the philosophy of never allowing a good crisis to go to waste. The conflict between Israel and Palestine offers just such an opportunity. Christofer Rufo of the City Journal obtained a copy of documents produced by the Portland Association of Teachers, an affiliate of the state teachersโ union that encourages its more than 4,500 members to โTeach Palestine.โ
Remember, these lesson plans are designed for pre-K to second-grade students. The lesson plans are mind-numbing and diabolical, filled with lies and radical wokeism, specifically put together in such a way as to indoctrinate a four to five-year-oldโs immature mind passively.
Pre-K resources include a video that repeats left-wing mantras, including โI feel safe when there are no police,โ and a slideshow glorifying the Palestinian intifada or violent resistance against Israel. The recommended resource list includes a “sensory guide for kids” on attending protests. It teaches children what they might see, hear, taste, touch, and smell at protests and includes photographs of slogans such as “Abolish Prisons” and “From the River to the Sea.”
For prekindergarten children, the union endorses a workbook from the Palestinian Feminist Collective. The workbook tells the story of a fictional Palestinian boy named Handala, who had to leave his home in Palestine when he was ten years old. The story mentions that a group of people called Zionists took the land by force and hurt many people. In the workbook, students are asked to create a protest slogan and solve a maze to help Handala reach his home in Palestine, which is represented as a map of Israel.
The lessons become more focused and intense once the children reach kindergarten through second grade. Expanding into comparisons between Israel and the United States regarding settler colonialism. The teachersโ union recommends a lesson, โArt and Action for Palestine,โ which paints both the U.S. and Israel as evil.
I have to admit that when I read through the lesson plan, I was horrified that so-called educators would speak of their own country and areas of the world that they clearly know nothing about so callously. To lie so deceptively to such impressionable minds is a woke form of child abuse that needs to be weeded out of all schools.
The lesson suggests that teachers should gather the kindergarteners into a circle and then lie to them about the history of Palestine:
โ75 years ago, a lot of decision makers around the world decided to take away Palestinian land to make a country called Israel. Israel would be a country where rules were mostly fair for Jewish people with White skin,โ the lesson reads. โThereโs a BIG word for when Indigenous land gets taken away to make a country, thatโs called settler colonialism.โ
Before snack time, the teacher is encouraged to share “keffiyehs, flags, and protest signs” with the children and have them create their own propaganda material, with slogans such as “FREE PALESTINE, LET GAZA LIVE, and PALESTINE WILL BE FREE.” The twisted and manipulative idea is to guide students towards “taking collective action in support of Palestinian liberation.”
The curriculum includes a pamphlet titled โAll Out for Palestine,โ subtitled: โSTOP THE GENOCIDE! END U.S. AID TO IRSAEL! FREE PALESTINE!โ Inside the pamphlet, these four to seven-year-olds were encouraged to support โboycott, divestment, and sanctionsโ policies against Israel.
This shows the depravity of these monsters. The idea of recruiting students of any age to act in this manner is criminal. The pamphlet includes chants that teachers can teach in the classroom. Some clearly support militancy and political violence. โResistance is justified when people are occupied!โ; โWe salute all our martyrs! mothers, fathers, sons and daughters!โ; โJustice is our demand! No peace on stolen land!
Itโs not clear to what extent the โTeach Palestine!โ lessons have been adopted in Portland public schools. However, the teachersโ union claims that the district has been โactively censoring teachersโ for promoting pro-Palestine ideologies; in response, it assembled a legal guide to demonstrate how teachers can keep promoting the lessons under the guise of meeting state curriculum standards.
As you can see, these woke leftists donโt care about educating; all they care about is indoctrinating young minds with hate, so their sick agenda can continue. Laws mean nothing to them; they simply continue to do whatever they want and hire lawyers to endlessly search for loopholes.
This type of indoctrination breeds racism, antisemitism, and hatred. There is no place for this anywhere in the world, far less a kindergarten classroom.
