Communism A-La Kamala

Despite what the MSM and Democrats are telling the American public, Kamala Harris is still and always will be a low-IQ, cackling fool. Those facts are precisely why she and her radical running mate are dangerous. With Harris and Walz, you have two people who cannot think rationally, so they are easily manipulated.

The ones holding the strings that control the Democratic ticket are radical leftists. Among many things, they believe in a one-world order and massive depopulation. They aim to achieve this by instituting communism/socialism, which they now refer to as being progressive. Schemes such as wide-open borders to inflate their illegal voting base, the โ€œplandemicโ€ to institute fear, gain control, and begin depopulation, and climate change to realign the worldโ€™s monetary position.

On Wednesday evening, Harris emerged from hiding and announced her first major policy decision, which was, as expected, a bad one. The left has decided that the way to correct the inflation that they created is to initiate government-mandated price controls on the food industry.

As usual, Democrats will not take legitimate action to correct the problem. Instead, they must manufacture a fake narrative and create a villain to act as a patsy for their poor policies. In this case, Harris aims to continue the administration’s strategy of attributing the pain consumers feel while shopping to “corporate greed,” a manipulative and dishonest move that exploits the emotions of those who do not grasp the actual cause of inflation.

Harris herself cast the tie-breaking vote that allowed Bidenโ€™s disastrous โ€œAmerican Rescue Planโ€ to be passed. Within weeks, inflation began to climb. However, now Harris intends to impose โ€œthe first-ever federal ban on corporate price-gougingโ€ onto grocers. Her campaign released word that they will โ€œimpose stiff penalties in the food industry.โ€

Opposition to the plan was immediately heard. RealClearPolitics senior writer Mark Hemingway put it this way.

โ€œKamala Harris is proposing price controls on food. This is literally what the Soviets did, and the results will be scarcity and higher costs.โ€

Republican strategist Matt Whitlock responded to the news:

โ€œSo, Kamala Harris is going to pretend to counter the high prices she caused by instituting some kind of communist government price controls on grocery stores. Absurd.โ€

Although they may temporarily make food goods and services more affordable, price controls can often lead to disruptions in the market, losses for producers, and a noticeable change in quality. When imposed on products that need to be stored for future use, price controls reduce the supply of a commodity. In such cases, price controls encourage a faster consumption rate, leading to reduced supplies for the future.

To paraphrase renowned economist Milton Friedman, he once said that economists may not know a lot, but they do understand how to create a shortage or surplus. Price ceilings, which prevent prices from exceeding a certain maximum, lead to shortages. On the other hand, price floors, which set a minimum price, result in surpluses, at least for a time.

This type of policy is presented when those pulling the strings donโ€™t understand the fundamental dynamics of a situation. Instead, they pander and try to look like heroes with gimmicks and non-sensical spur-of-the-moment moves.

The Harris-Walz campaign should not be taken seriously. This is a childlike plan that will not accomplish lasting change. Harris is duplicating Bidenโ€™s โ€œGround Hog Dayโ€ campaign strategy, staying in her den and only coming out occasionally. She has yet to give an interview or answer any questions. She gives the same speech at her sparsely attended rallies where she can read off a teleprompter.

According to tradition, if a groundhog sees its shadow on Groundhog Day, there will be six more weeks of winter. If the groundhog doesn’t see its shadow, spring is coming. This prediction is based on the idea that if the weather is clear and the groundhog sees its shadow, it will retreat into its burrow.

In Harrisโ€™s case, all she needs to see is a conservative journalist to send her scurrying back into hiding. Although Iโ€™m betting even the shadow of a conservative holding a microphone would do the same thing.
