Democrats, Big Tech, And Chernobyl

The Democrats are great at playing mind games. They accuse others of what they themselves do, which is known as projecting. It’s a version of the adage that says a good offense is better than a good defense. They continuously try to keep those who they disagree with on their heels, which, politically speaking, are conservatives who, unfortunately, very often play directly into their hands.

In today’s political climate, conservatives have taken a far too passive stance against radical leftist insanity. Far-left policies are chipping away at our rights, and chief among them is freedom of speech. There are examples of it every day. The UK is essentially lost, with “Speech Police” arresting anyone who they deem to have posted inflammatory or (and this is my favorite) misinformation about a subject that the left sees as sacred. That said, the U.S. is not that far behind. We know that Google, Facebook, and Twitter (now X) have all suppressed speech for one reason or another, and in all cases, it was to protect the radical left narrative.

Democrats, with few exceptions, control the MSM as well as big tech. So, it isn’t surprising that so many people’s minds are corrupted. Garbage in and garbage out applies to much of radical speak. Of course, this suppression of speech is nothing new. It has long been an integral part of communism, which was then softened to socialism, which then became the oxymoron democratic socialism, which has been replaced by the imbecilic label of being progressive.

No matter what type of label you attach to it, this type of speech control and manipulation is pure evil. For those Millennials and Generation Z individuals who want socialism/communism because they have no idea what it is, put your phones down and take a history lesson. The loss of free speech or its manipulation is an integral step for implementing even greater control over the population.

By controlling information, you manipulate how people think. You can use fear or lies, but if no informative rebuttal is allowed, only one side is ever heard.

As fate would have it, my better half and I decided to watch the HBO mini-series Chernobyl again. In the first episode, a high-ranking Soviet Union official made this speech to the first group of people aware of the Chernobyl incident. It perfectly represents the way the left wants to control us through the suppression of speech by calling anything that they disagree with “misinformation.”

To set the scene, it is only an hour or two since a nuclear reactor at Chernobyl had exploded. A nuclear reactor had never exploded before, and they had no idea of the massive danger that existed. However, despite signs that was indeed what had happened, they downplayed the truth and could only think of suppressing what had taken place.

The real name of Chernobyl is The Vladamir I. Lenin Nuclear Power Station.

“Yes, Lenin, and how proud he would be of all of you tonight.

Especially you, young man, for the passion you have for the people, for is that not the sole purpose of the apparatus of the State?

Sometimes, we forget. Sometimes, we fall prey to fear. That our faith in Soviet Socialism will always be rewarded.

Now, the State tells us the situation here is not dangerous; have faith, Comrades.

The State tells us it wants to prevent a panic, so listen well.

It’s true that when people see the police, they will be afraid. But it is my experience that when people ask questions that are not in their own best interests, they should simply be told to keep their minds on their labor and leave matters of the State to the State.

We’ll seal off the city. No one leaves and cut the phone lines to contain the spread of misinformation.

That is how we keep the people from undermining the fruits of their own labor.

Yes, Comrades, we will all be rewarded for what we do here tonight.

This is our moment to shine.”

The conversation above, whether real or fabricated, to replicate the actual conversation or to simulate the state of mind at the time demonstrates the danger of one group deciding what “disinformation” is.

No nuclear reactor has exploded, but the left is lying about the rot that is decimating our country from the inside out. Those who speak against the wrongs being done by the radicals are being suppressed.

Nevertheless, “A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it. The truth is the truth even if nobody believes it.”

The truth can’t be suppressed forever. Look for it and trust yourself. The left despises independent thought.
