“Insects for Thee, Not for Me,” says DNC

Alarm bells were proverbially sounded as maggots were found in the breakfast being served to Democrats attending the DNC Wednesday morning.

This reaction answered the question recently asked by Minnesota State Senator Torrey Westrom, “Would it bug you if you didn’t know you were eating bugs?” Apparently, the answer is “yes” if you are a liberal elitist attending the nomination ceremony for Kamala Harris.

The question came from the Senator when he proposed an amendment in April of this year that would require food manufacturers to disclose to consumers if they used insects as an ingredient in their products.

Democrats in the state governed by Tim Walt, the Vice-Presidential Nominee of the Democrat Party, swiftly blocked the amendment.

But why is this? These same liberals and their allies across the nation have been promoting insect protein to be served to the American people as a “sustainable alternative” to meat-based protein for over a decade.

In 2019 the Seattle Times specifically mentioned maggots, the same carcass consuming fly larvae left on tables at the convention, as a food source that could “revolutionize the way we feed the world.”

While the sardonicism of the Minnesota Delegation being hit is clear, there is no evidence that they were specifically targeted due to their recent legislative votes. Rather the responsible party is believed to be the same group responsible for a similar act against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last month. The FBI was called in to investigate Wednesday’s incident.
