The Real Reason Harris has Risen in the Polls

Kamala Harris is a failed leader. In addition to being one of the worst Vice Presidents in US history, the former Senator from California has failed politically at everything she has tried to do since announcing her campaign for the Presidency in late 2019.

Harris was forced to withdraw from the 2020 Democratic Primary before Iowa even voted, her campaign was so poorly run. She has also struggled as Vice President to do basic interviews, accomplish any meaningful goals, or even maintain a positive public profile. The only job Harris was given as Vice President was overseeing the porous and open border, and she has been completely incompetent in this role.

Still, the national and battleground polls are clear, Harris has risen slightly against former President Trump.

While Biden was clearly senile, Harris was expected to do better with the public than the embarrassing current President, she has continued to move up in recent new polling data. Since the Vice President supports far left-wing positions such as banning private insurance and defunding the police, and she is incompetent, this continued performance in the polls defies all common sense and basic logic.

So how is this happening?

The answer is that the corrupt and biased national media has formed a protective wall around the incompetent Vice President, similar to how the press did this with Biden during COVID in 2020. Biden and Harris were both rejected even by Democratic voters in 2020, they couldn’t debate or even answer basic questions, both needed the media to run their campaigns for them. The national media has figured out that Harris can’t do interviews or even answer basic questions on the campaign trail, so the press has stopped scheduling interviews or asking questions of her. The former Senator from California hasn’t done any interviews or taken serious questions from the media for over two weeks, and not surprisingly, the national press has not called her out.

Harris did not issue a statement over the desecration and mass arrests that occurred in DC when Netanyahu spoke for a long time, she hasn’t articulated any substantive policy positions on issues ranging from the expiring Trump tax cuts, the open border, or any other major issue. The Vice President has also not come close to articulating what her foreign policy vision would be.

Harris’ campaign website has zero policy positions on it at all.

She is hiding, and the corrupt and biased national media is letting her avoid public scrutiny well these left-wing activists that are pretending to be journalists try to remake her image as a centrist and a moderate. Harris had the most far-left voting record in the Senate and she has served for nearly 4 years as Vice President to a senile President, yet the media is not asking her any questions or even scheduling interviews with a person seeking to be the leader of the free world. The liberal media is running Harris’s campaign for her.

Trump has made minor mistakes on messaging in the last several weeks, but Harris’s rise in the polls is almost entirely because of the absurd coverage that she has gotten in the media over the last several weeks. The Vice President cannot debate, interview, or even articulate basic policy positions, her campaign can only work if the media insulates her from any real or substantive scrutiny. Trump needs to put more pressure on Harris by putting out specific policy positions and talking about what he would do on issues ranging from the war between Russia and Ukraine to the current conflict in the Middle East. Once Harris is forced to take positions and talk to the media, her campaign will likely implode just as her effort to be President in 2020 failed.
