“They Aren’t Flip-Flops. They Are Flat-Out Lies.”
Editor’s Note: This came from a Team Trump press release by Tommy Pigott and Eric Leyden, and it contained pretty much everything we’d planned on saying about Kamala Harris’ stunning (and brave?) policy reversals…
Kamala Harris’s campaign has tried to erase her radical record from history. These desperate and fake pivots won’t work. They aren’t “flip-flops;” they are flat-out lies. She is too weak to defend her record because it is indefensible.
- MYTH: Kamala does not support an electric vehicle mandate
- Fact: The Harris-Biden administration finalized its “strictest-ever rules” for tailpipe emissions, essentially forcing a “de facto electric vehicle mandate” onto America, including the U.S. military.
- MYTH: Kamala supports building the border wall
- Fact: Kamala vehemently opposed the border wall for almost a decade, said she would not “vote for a wall under any circumstances” as a senator, and halted construction of the border wall as vice president.
- MYTH: Kamala supports no taxes on tips
- Fact: Kamala has been working to take more taxpayer dollars away from hardworking Americans who rely on tips to earn their living, including a supercharged army of IRS agents implementing a new program to crack down on tips.
- MYTH: Kamala “would not ban fracking.”
- MYTH: Kamala no longer supports eliminating hundreds of millions of Americans’ healthcare plans.
- Fact: Kamala said she has “always supported” a socialist takeover of healthcare, including cosponsoring legislation to eliminate private healthcare plans.
- MYTH: Kamala won’t defund the police.
- Fact: Kamala is a proud member of defunding the police, applauding municipalities who cut police budgets and calling for fewer cops on the streets.
- MYTH: Kamala “no longer supports” the main tenants of the Green New Deal.
- Fact: Kamala bragged that her Green New Deal was the most extreme, and even promised to eliminate the filibuster to force it through.
- MYTH: Kamala doesn’t support mandatory gun confiscation.
- Fact: Kamala repeatedly said gun confiscation was a “good idea,” and pledged to take executive action to unilaterally implement it.
And that’s just the start of her flat-out lies to the American people. It’s also all in addition to her continued denial that she has been in the White House for the last 3.5 years. Recently, she has lambasted the Kamalanomics economy she herself brought about, and denied responsibility for the border crisis she was tasked to oversee.
Reminder: Kamala has yet to personally disavow any of her dangerously liberal record. Anonymous and contradictory comments from staffers do not a policy agenda make.
