Does Arizona Have A Copy Of The Constitution?

Arizona is, in many ways, the most ass-backward state in the country, which explains how a radical leftist like Katie Hobbs was elected Governor. Arizona law requires voters to file documents that prove their citizenship to vote in state and local elections but not in federal ones. So, if you’re voting for dog catcher, get that ID out, but for president of the United States, … no problem.

On Tuesday, an error was discovered revealing that thousands of residents had applied for driver’s licenses without proving their citizenship. Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs acknowledged the issue and stated that the error is being addressed.

Despite being unable to prove their American citizenship, Arizona’s Supreme Court ruled on Friday that nearly 98,000 voters who could not prove their citizenship due to a system glitch can still vote in the November elections.

The ruling sides with Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, a Democrat. Fontes claimed it was too late to do anything about the November election and also contended that prohibiting residents from voting in an election for which they could easily be qualified to vote could raise equal protection and due process concerns.

“We are unwilling to disenfranchise voters En masse from participating in state contests,” stated Chief Justice Ann Scott Timmer in the ruling reported by the Associated Press.

This ruling is all about ensuring additional Democratic voters. Isn’t it strange that all of these “errors” and “glitches” always favor the Democrats? This is not a ruling that upholds the law. This is a gift for Democrats, given to them by other Democrats.

The Supreme Court Ruling Came after Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer had stated on Tuesday that he planned to file a lawsuit with the Arizona Supreme Court that would prohibit tens of thousands of residents from voting in state and local elections if they fail to produce their proper citizenship papers.

“All of these people have attested under penalty of law that they are U.S. citizens.  And, in all likelihood, they are almost all U.S. Citizens,” Richer wrote in a post on X. “But they have NOT provided documented proof of citizenship.”

This should not be that hard for a “Just” Supreme Court. Their ruling does not uphold the state law that requires documented proof of citizenship. As Stephen Richter explained, some and perhaps even most could be American citizens, but they didn’t provide evidence, and therefore, they should not be entitled to vote.

I’m a nice guy, but I can’t get into a sporting event or a movie without a ticket. There are rules and laws for good reasons. The Arizona Supreme Court should have followed the law and disallowed those who didn’t follow the rules from voting.

This is not justice. This is a smack in the face to everyone who obeys the law. Once again, the Democrats have promoted division and frustration by making excuses for lawlessness and corruption.

It’s wrong, it’s disgusting, and it needs to stop.
