7 Important Moments from Trump’s MAGA Rally in MSG

Madison Square Garden (MSG) is one of the most famous arenas in all of America. Stationed in the heart of New York City, MSG has hosted numerous concerts, basketball games, hockey matches, and iconic boxing fights over the years.

What makes MSG special is that is located in President Donald Trump’s very own backyard—New York City. Donald Trump loves his hometown, but his hometown has not reciprocated this love over the past nine years. In both the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections, NYC voters overwhelmingly voted for President Trump’s Democratic party opponent. Consequently, New York was not the center of President Trump’s campaign efforts–until last May.

Back in May 2024, President Trump hosted an outdoor rally in the Bronx during the midst of the bogus Manhattan “DA “hush money” trial. This rally made headlines since it was one of Trump’s first major political events in New York City since his initial presidential campaign announcement in June 2015.

Then last weekend, President Trump’s campaign hosted a packed MAGA rally at the iconic Madison Square Garden arena. This rally lasted several hours, contained many memorable moments, and even drew massive crowds outside the stadium. In fact, many political observers people–including myself–believed that this rally was his most high-energy campaign event of the 2024 cycle.

While President Trump will likely not win the New York in next week’s election, Trump’s MSG rally was the crowning moment of the Trump movement. The MAGA movement once started as a dissident political movement with little chance to succeed back in the summer of 2015. After nine long years, Donald Trump spoke in a front of a massive crowd in America’s most famous arena (MSG) in America’s largest city (New York City) in the closing days of the 2024 presidential election.
