Al Sharpton Rides Again On His Racist Stallion
For decades, one of the greatest instigators of hate has been Al Sharpton. He always shows up under the phony guise of trying to help, but what he is really there for is to first and foremost promote himself and secondly to divide by playing the race card.
In my eyes, Sharpton has become a caricature or a cartoon character. He is so obviously someone not to be taken seriously that I am surprised anyone cares about anything he says. He is a โnever was, has beenโ who pitifully tries to stay relevant.
His new attempt to stay in an ever-dimming spotlight is to go blatantly racist and threaten any companies that have eliminated their DEI programs. In the slim chance you arenโt aware of what DEI is, it stands for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. It is a quota system that only recognizes skin color, gender, or sexual orientation. So, if you are a person of color, female, gay, lesbian, or transgender, you are the person who gets hired under DEI. Merit and experience are never factored in, and Whites and Asians are mostly excluded unless passing you over would be impossible to explain.
According to Fox News, Sharpton issued the threat while speaking at the Metropolitan AME Church in Washington, D.C., on Monday. He announced that his organization, the National Action Network, will first conduct a study on companies that are dropping their DEI initiatives. Once the study is complete, boycotting will begin.
โIn 90 days, we are going to announce the two companies that weโre going after, and weโre going to ask everybody in this country, black, white, brown, gay, straight woman, trans, donโt buy where you are not respected.โ
โWhy do we have DEI? We have DEI because you denied us diversity, you denied us equity, you denied us inclusion. DEI was a remedy to the racial institutionalized bigotry practice in academia and in these corporations. Now, if you want to put us back in the back of the bus, we are going to do the Dr. King-Rosa Parks on you.โ
โYou must have forgot who we are. We are the ones that you took everything, and we are still here.โ
Of course, all of that is total bluster and nonsense. Sharpton is saying that blacks cannot earn a job on merit, so they must be handed positions theyโre not qualified for. The institutionalized bigotry he speaks of DEI creates. It is a new form of racism that calls for purposeful discrimination against Whites and Asians.
While Sharpton feigns outrage in a futile attempt to stay pertinent, Fox News reported on Tuesday that:
โThe federal Office of Personnel Management (OPM) notified heads of agencies and departments that they must begin taking steps to close all diversity, equity, and inclusion offices by the end of the day Wednesday and place government workers in those offices on paid leave.โ
The public is rapidly growing weary of scams like DEI. Sharpton knows this, but it wonโt stop him from trying to use it to his advantage. Behind the scenes, money often seems to flow into his sham organization, the National Action Network. I wonโt speculate about how that happens, but I have a good idea.
Sharpton is a user who doesnโt give a damn about the root causes of black educational or hiring issues; all he wants is a racist solution to try and make him look good.
That ship has sailed, Al; Itโs time to fade away.
