Another Democrat Wants To Steal From Taxpayers And Give It To Illegals

There is no limit to the absurdity of the Democratic party. They must lay awake at night trying to think of ways they can put the screws to the American people. The sickness they suffer from is mind-boggling. They can only see one side of an issue, and it is always their side, no matter how distorted it may be. Over the years, I have asked myself, can they really be this blind? The answer, of course, is no. The only things they are blind to are common sense and a love for America and Americans.

Radical, and I do mean Radical, Senator Rebecca Saldana (D-Seattle), a loser who in 2021 backed a maniacal “progressive” candidate Ubax Gardheere even though a video was released showing the King County Council candidate being arrested after threatening to blow up a school bus filled with children and calling them cowards as they fled.

Let that sink in. A Muslim candidate walks onto a school bus filled with children and threatens to blow it up, and Saldana supports her even after watching the video.

Proving that she believes rules are for others but not for her, Saldana, while serving as vice chair of the state’s transportation committee, participated in a Zoom call on her phone while driving, which obviously violates state laws.

Saldana is now proposing to give illegal immigrants who are not authorized to work in the U.S. unemployment benefits despite a massive budget deficit. She has reintroduced a bill for the new legislative session that began on Monday to help the illegals access unemployment insurance, a program funded with federal and state payroll taxes that are withheld from an employee’s paycheck.

Illegal immigrants are ineligible to apply for work permits and, as a result, cannot register for or file unemployment compensation under federal law. In Washington state, there are over 156,000 illegal immigrants employed.

SB 5023 would mandate that state funds be allocated for a program designed for Illegal immigrants who are ineligible for unemployment insurance due to their Illegal immigration status. These individuals would be directed from the Employment Security Department’s website to a separate website managed by a third-party administrative system.

Saldana argues that this proposal will safeguard the identities of Illegal immigrants by protecting employers from liability if they unknowingly hire individuals without legal immigration status. The program is estimated to cost around $100 million in the first two-year budget cycle and $140 million in the subsequent cycle, benefiting more than 5,300 workers annually.

Washington’s budget deficit ranges from $10 to $17 billion. Incoming Democratic Governor Bob Ferguson has proposed a 6 percent cut across the board as an initial step to address the deficit. Outgoing Governor Jay Inslee had suggested a wealth tax, along with other revenue-generating plans, to help close the gap.

In California, Democratic lawmakers proposed legislation similar to Saldaña’s, but Governor Gavin Newsom vetoed it due to a significant budget deficit. According to Fox News, he also blocked a bill that aimed to provide illegal immigrants with better access to home loans and mortgages.

It would be nice to believe that Newsom saw the light, but I’m sure the only reason he didn’t push it through was that he was already giving money away on some other deadbeat program.

Colorado taxpayers weren’t as fortunate. In 2022, Colorado was the first state in the US to pass legislation to establish an unemployment fund for illegal immigrants and budgeted $15 million a year for the program.

Three states controlled by Democrats who couldn’t care less about their constituents, but love supporting people here illegally. This is not equality or fairness. This is political, strongarming, and flat-out stealing from American citizens.

It’s time to wake up and vote out the woke.
