By Any Name, Jimmy Hats, Dingers, Raincoats, Or Condoms $50 Million Is A Waste Of Money
In one of my favorite movies, “A Few Good Men,” Tom Cruise plays a lawyer defending two Marines accused of murder. After being told another piece of bad news concerning his case, he proclaims, “And the hits just keep on coming.”
That line perfectly describes the endless stream of waste being uncovered by the DOGE concerning the unscrupulous Biden Administration. As a result, the Trump administration has frozen all domestic and foreign federal aid, sparking outrage from the left that loves spending money like water.
Brian Mast, the House Foreign Affairs Committee chair, spoke with the Daily Mail and revealed a few of the many wasteful programs funded by the Biden administration, which have now been frozen.
For instance, $47,000 for a transgender opera in Columbia. Mast also explained:
“Let’s see, there was also a transgender comic book. We’re trying to get our hands on the actual comic book in Peru, and I heard it’s reasonably risqué.”
The transgender comic book reportedly cost $32,000 in taxpayer money, but that’s nothing compared to the $15 million that was wasted on condoms for the Taliban and the unbelievable $50 million that would have been wasted on condoms for Gaza.
In 2020 the Jerusalem Post Reported:
“It started with kites with burning rags or embers attached to them. Three months later, booby-trapped balloons and condoms began to be carried east toward the South, carried by winds coming off the Mediterranean Sea.”
“While the use of kites, a popular Middle Eastern pastime, seems to have disappeared, scores of balloons and condoms with explosive devices attached to them continue to land in schoolyards, agricultural fields, and highways.”
That’s right. Palestinians use the condoms as explosive balloons, launching them at Israel to also burn farms and homes.
Mast had this to say about the expenditure:
“These are drops in the bucket of the American budget, but they’re still ridiculous and stupid. No more condoms or contraception to the Taliban, no more teaching them how to weave carpets.”
“No more funding drag shows to Ecuador at $20,000 a clip or atheism to Nepal at half a million dollars for a grant. These are all things that come to an end under Secretary Rubio, President Trump, and myself as Foreign Affairs Chair and the Republican-led country.”
Mast recently spoke at a congressional roundtable, clarifying that changes are coming.
“We will be doing a full State Department reauthorization. We will wake up, eat, sleep, and breathe to root out waste in the State Department and make America the partner of choice. No one can tell you why America is spending $50,000 on drag shows in Ecuador or $500,000 to expand atheism in Nepal.”
Speaking to Fox News, a State Department spokesperson clarified Trump’s position.
“President Trump stated clearly that the United States is no longer going to blindly dole out money with no return for the American people. Reviewing and realigning foreign assistance on behalf of hardworking taxpayers is not just the right thing to do; it is a moral imperative. The Secretary is proud to protect America’s investment with a deliberate and judicious review of how we spend foreign assistance dollars overseas.”
“The mandate from the American people was clear: we must refocus on American national interests. The Department and USAID take their role as stewards of taxpayer dollars very seriously. The implementation of this Executive Order and the Secretary’s direction furthers that mission. As Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said, ‘Every dollar we spend, every program we fund, and every policy we pursue must be justified with the answer to three simple questions: Does it make America safer? Does it make America stronger? Does it make America more prosperous?’”
Naturally, the left immediately went into CYA mode. A former Biden administration official, Andrew Miller, told The Times of Israel that the programs are a “Feverish dream.”
“It’s possible that $50 million is put aside for sexual health or something of that nature, which would include gynecology and many other services, but definitely not condoms alone.”
Not possible, more like definitely probable.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the worthless U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Monday that he has “concern” about the aid freeze.
“He calls for additional exemptions to be considered to ensure the continued delivery of critical development and humanitarian activities for the most vulnerable communities around the world. Those lives and livelihoods depend on this support.”
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has already declared several exemptions from foreign aid, such as emergency food and military assistance to Israel and Egypt.
The Biden administration was not only promoting perversion in the U.S. but also worldwide. Using taxpayer dollars to spread this filth should be considered treason. Imagine spending $50 million on condoms for Gaza while stateside; we have people struggling after hurricanes and wildfires. DOGE will continue turning over rocks, and I have no doubt they will find more atrocities we, as taxpayers, have unknowingly financed.
And the hits just keep on coming.
