AN IQ TEST: AOC vs. Elon Musk

The following is a compilation of the writer’s random thoughts concerning news events of the past week: 

• AOC saying this week that Elon Musk is not smart amuses me.

• I always assumed AOC’s mother drank a lot when she was pregnant. 

• Lord, I apologize for that remark.

• I won’t just single out AOC. Maxine Waters is nuttier than an outhouse rat. I can’t begin to tell you how gratifying it was to see a commoner stand outside the Department of Education building this week and put her in her place. Someone, FINALLY, stood up to that lunatic.  

• The last time New Orleans hosted the Super Bowl the electricity went out in the Superdome and, many people believe, influenced the final score. 

• I’ve noticed that every Gannett-owned newspaper I follow on Facebook — in states that include the Central and Eastern time zones — last week directed people to a place they can go in their local area to protest President Donald Trump’s deportations. This was part of what called the 50501 Movement. Gannett, of course, wrote multiple articles about the protests. But think about it. All of the Gannett papers, on the day before the actual protests, were promoting this event? That can’t be a coincidence. Gannett is coordinating with these people. I have enough experience with Gannett to know that they would do such a thing. 

• The people warning us that Trump’s tariffs will increase the cost of groceries had no such concerns when Biden was warned that adding trillions more to the national debt would trigger inflation. They had no such concerns when Biden canceled oil leases, which triggered gas prices to rise (which, in turn, made it more expensive to transport groceries and other commodities to stores, and these higher costs, of course, got passed down to customers). I’m not saying that Trump’s tariffs won’t raise prices, perhaps temporarily, but where were these people when Biden was president and doing what he was doing? 

• I wake up every day and see what Trump is up to, and I ask myself whether I’m dreaming. The stuff he’s doing and saying is too good to be true. I also think that if he had been reelected in 2020 that his second term would have been mild compared to what he’s doing now, which is serving a second non-consecutive term. Liberals used COVID-19 and voting by mail to commit fraud and cheat him out of the 2020 election. And when he was out of office the liberals tried to put him in prison, and when that didn’t work they tried to have him killed. They stoked a firein that man’s belly. It’s like Kurt Russell’s Wyatt Earp screaming “I’M COMING AND HELL IS COMING WITH ME.” And I bet some of the liberals are seriously regretting the stuff they did to him between 2020 and 2024. Give me more of this, please. More, more, more, more, more, more.
