Eric Swalwell’s Drunken Confession
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), who hates Trump and everything conservative but has no problem frolicking with Chinese spies, may have stepped into a pile of something that he can’t easily scrape off of his shoe.
In January 2023, then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R) removed fellow Californian Swalwell from the House Intelligence Committee due to his alleged relationship with Chinese spy Christine Fang, also known as Fang Fang. Swalwell, who recently expressed concerns about President Trump’s achievements, now finds himself facing new troubles after journalist Nick Sortor claimed to have recorded a compromising conversation involving Swalwell while he was intoxicated.
Sortor claims to have a 90-minute taped recording of Swalwell spilling his guts while getting intoxicated with a group of lobbyists.
In one of his X posts, Sortor said this:
“EXCLUSIVE: Eric Swalwell PANICS when I ask about his Chinese spy girlfriend Fang Fang, and whether that’s a bigger “national security threat” than Elon Musk.
I sat next to a drunk Swalwell at dinner for 90 minutes. He was IMMEDIATELY compromised by a group of lobbyists he’d JUST MET, spilling intimate details about his job and asking for HELP CHEATING ON HIS WIFE.
MASSIVE national security threat. This guy should have his clearances revoked.
Swalwell spent his dinner bragging about “ORGlES” on Capitol Hill, telling them he’s bored of his wife and “only wants to f*ck tens.”
Worse, he spoke about ABUSlNG his power on the House Intel Committee (which he’s since been booted off of), saying he pushed to SUBPOENA Ivanka Trump because she’s “hot as f*ck.”
THIS GUY MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE HOMELAND SECURITY COMMITTEE. He CANNOT keep his freaking mouth shut.
After I began questioning him, Swalwell jumped back into the group of lobbyists to hide from me, but I pressed on.
Dude looked absolutely TERRIFIED and 100 percent guilty. He knows he’s been caught. More to come later. I have about an hour and a half of audio to go through and a big shoutout to @LauraLoomer for assisting me with digging into this clown while I was focusing on listening in!”
After taping Swalwell mindlessly spewing whatever popped into his empty head, Sortor followed him as he was leaving and questioned him until he reached his ride. Sharing a video of his confrontation with the lawmaker after the meal, the journalist could be heard asking a deer in the headlights, Swalwell:
“Elon Musk is a national security threat, but you sleeping with a Chinese spy is not, is that correct?”
Before posting the video and urging House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to remove Swalwell from the Homeland Security Committee, Sortor posted on X:
“Hi @RepSwalwell! I know you have me blocked, but I wanted to thank you for the ‘lovely’ chat we just had at dinner! You’ll see a video recap tomorrow here on X! Regards, The man whose table you invaded while you were inebriated at dinner…PS: Tell Fang Fang I said hi!”
Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk reacted to the video saying, “Truth is stranger than fiction.”
In response, Sortor credited Laura Loomer for her investigative role and shared an image from his time observing the congressman, revealing how close he had been, adding:
“I’ll be forwarding the 90 minutes of recordings to Speaker Johnson’s office. All it takes is a couple of drinks, and Swalwell spills EVERYTHING. Why should someone like that be on the Homeland Security Committee? He shouldn’t even be in Congress!”
Hours later, Sortor was still upset with the Swalwell display, posting:
“It’s beyond unethical for a sitting Congressman on the Homeland Security Committee to go get absolutely plastered with lobbyists he’s never met before. Especially given he sings like a bird to them. Swalwell cannot be trusted.”
On the “Timcast IRL” podcast, Sortor continued to elaborate:
“The guy was screaming. It’s like everybody in the restaurant was able to hear what he was saying, and he didn’t care.”
Reactions to the video began streaming in quickly. In fact, it has already been viewed around 18 million times. Sortor seeing these early reactions posted on X that much more was to come, saying:
“Ohhhh, stay tuned”
I have no reason to doubt that Sortor’s statement is true. If it is, there should be no delay in removing Swalwell from Congress. If he folds like a cheap suit after a few drinks with lobbyists, he IS a risk to National Security.
