I Swear, These Entitled D.C. Bureaucrats Make Me Want to SCREAM!!!
I don’t know whether to feel amused or angry when I see federal bureaucrats go on TV to complain that they were laid off from their jobs when they are getting EIGHT MONTHS OF SEVERANCE PAY.
Then they whine that they don’t know what they’re going to do with their lives…as was the case last weekend on 60 Minutes.
RELATED: Government Shutdown: A Media Double Standard No One Discusses
Every time we have a divided government and Republicans and Democrats in Congress cannot agree on budget priorities, we get a federal government shutdown. The leftist media always runs to whatever federal employees they can find, puts them on the air and listens to them bellyache about how they can no longer put food on the table to feed their kids, pay their mortgage, etc., etc., etc.
Then the budget issues get resolved…usually because Republicans in Congress cave to Democrats. And then these same federal employees, bureaucrats or otherwise, get not only their jobs back, but, to go with it, backpay for the weeks that they didn’t work.
Did you ever see the media run off to interview people who lost the jobs they would have had when former President Joe Biden cancelled the Keystone Pipeline?
Did you ever see the media scurry to interview you and your colleagues when your private sector employer had to furlough you or lay you off?
Hell no.
IN THE NEWS: The Message of Cobra Kai is One All Men Need to Hear
People in the private sector know all too well how it feels to get laid off because their employers have to tighten their belts, and they’re lucky if they even get two to four weeks of severance. The media never pays attention to those people. Private sector folks don’t run to the media. They roll up their sleeves and use their ingenuity to figure out what they’re going to do to solve the most recent problem in their lives.
And a lot of these private sector people, I might add, have suffered greatly under inflation, a problem, I might also add, that the government created because it kept borrowing money it didn’t have.
And the federal government has treated middle class private sector people like a toilet.
The nerve of these ****ing people!!!
More power to Elon Musk!
