Idaho National Guard Trying To Make God A Four-Letter Word
Sometimes, to really understand the severity of an action, one must view it through the lens of the same thing happening to someone or something else and compare the subsequent consequences. The Idaho Army National Guard is now facing a federal lawsuit because it removed an officer from his command for speaking about his Christian beliefs.
Major David Worley is accused of creating a hostile work environment by simply voicing his opinions on things certain people in current society are easily offended by. In addition to the issue of free speech, those in power also ignore that the statements were made long before Worley was promoted.
Liberty Counsel founder Mat Staver stated that while running for public office, Worley wrote that there are only two sexes, male and female. He also expressed concerns about pornographic material for minors in public libraries and the “medical mutilation of gender-confused children.”
“All of those are protected speech,” Staver said.
These comments caused a sniveling gay snowflake to perform a Google search to try and dig dirt up on Worley. As a result, a complaint against Worley was filed with the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission. They accused Worley of creating a hostile work environment. And he was removed from command.
These actions by the commission are outrageous. Consider this: a petulant punk who is living an alternative lifestyle whines to a gutless commission because a Christian spoke honestly about his beliefs, and they punished the Christian who did nothing wrong. I assure you, every day, those who work around this gay individual are aware that he is gay. They may disagree with it, but his actions and characteristics are something they must tolerate. Yet he, as a minority of the population, can deliberately damage a person’s life because his childlike sensibilities are somehow offended.
Staver’s organization, Liberty Counsel, a law firm that specializes in religious liberty cases, alleges the Guard has a “No Christians in Command” policy. The investigation accused General James Packwood of enforcing a policy that required a review of the religious beliefs of all command personnel and members of the National Guard.
“And if there’s anything that was concerning regarding their Christian beliefs or values, that they should not only be removed, but they should not be allowed to become a member of the National Guard,” Staver added.
Liberty Counsel is demanding the restoration of Major Worley and that the Idaho Army National Guard cease persecuting Christians.
“This is the toxic environment of the military under the Biden and also the previous administration of the Obama administration, where they have put in place these rogue leaders, even at the level of general. And so these woke leaders have been pushing this kind of nonsense on the military and cleansing the military of people of faith and values and pushing this woke ideology, that DEI nonsense that has been hurting our military.”
Idaho Gov. Brad Little is a Republican who has refused to intervene. Even though Little is in charge of the Idaho National Guard.
On that matter, Staver had this to stay:
“So, Brad Little’s weak leadership and this woke ideology is being revealed. I can tell you we will stop it. This will end and we’ll have a new day in our United States military.”
Staver is right. The woke ideology isn’t based on anything realistic, and the left’s fantasies are corrupting every aspect of society. So, there isn’t any excuse for Governor Little to sit by and let this type of injustice take place. The Democrats ran roughshod over the country during both the Obama and Biden administrations; it’s time to restore sanity and solid Christian values to everyday American life.
