The Democratic Party Thinks the American People Having Control of Government Spending is an Existential Threat
Today’s Democratic party specializes in double talk. The left can’t run on wanting to further push Wars such as the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, raise costs on the middle class by increasing taxes on businesses, or spending trillions on what the Democrats refer to as climate change. The Democratic party’s entire message on gaslighting and lying about the left’s true agenda. Despite repeated absurd claims by some Democrats that Trump is a threat to Democracy, the left are the ones who support censorship and the prosecution of political opponents. The Democratic party is and has been the threat to our country’s freedoms that the left tries to paint President Trump as.
What the Democrats really mean when they say Trump is an existential threat, is that the current President taking power away from political elites and returning that authority to the people is a danger to the country. The entire philosophy of the left is based on the idea that an intellectual elite should be making decisions for the unsophisticated masses. That idea is the real reason why today’s extreme Democratic party supports gun control, high taxes, socialized medicine, and increased overall levels of government spending. All of these policies give unelected bureaucrats more power.
This is why the recent meltdown by Democratic leaders over Elon Musk and his team working at the Department of Government Efficiency again shows the real reason why today’s left despises President Trump. He represents the American people taking back control of the government and stripping power away from the Washington elite. Trump is an existential threat to the Washington establishment’s grip on power.
Elon Musk and his people recently obtained access to the US Treasury payment system so these individuals can essentially conduct an audit of government spending. What Musk has found in a short time is already stunning. The US government was spending hundreds of thousands of dollars per month on coffee cups for IRS employees even though most have been working remotely, the spending thousands on transgender, and LGBTA comic books in Peru. This is a complete waste of taxpayer money.
The Democratic party is really protesting the American people taking control the government, which is what the MAGA movement is really about. Trump and Musk represent the core reason that Trump was elected, to disrupt Washington DC and make the government more accountable to the people. The country also has far more confidence in Musk than the Democrats, Congress’s approval rating was near an all-time low when the Democrats were in charge. Americans trust Trump and Musk to represent their interests, not Democrats who want to spend 2 trillion on what the left calls climate change.
President Trump ran as an outsider who would clean up Washington, and that’s exactly what he is doing by putting Musk in charge of conducting an audit of a government that wastes hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer money every year. What the left really means when they say Trump is an existential threat to democracy, is that the American people taking back control of the US government is why the left view the MAGA movement with such disdain. The very fact that the President and the MAGA movement represent the people of this country is why the same Democratic party is so threatened by Trump and his allies.
