Zelensky’s Playing Solitaire, Thinks He’s Playing Poker
Vladamir Zelensky is an opportunistic Gavin Newsom in freshly ironed fatigues. Both are nothing more than narcissistic con men; the only difference is that Zelensky has had the opportunity of a lifetime to play the martyr while laundering billions of dollars through his sophisticated system, which is camouflaged by photos of war-torn areas.
Think of Zelensky being in Vegas and Joe Biden was the dealer representing the house. As long as the two of them were working the same table, Wink, Wink, Zelensky never lost a hand.
While the Biden administration left American borders wide open, it was shoveling money into Ukraine. I apologize; I want to rephrase that: The Biden administration DELIBERATELY left America’s borders open while it laundered American taxpayer money through Ukraine.
Unfortunately for the little dictator, a new dealer is at his table, and he may never win another hand. Zelensky has been on a winning streak, and it appears the reality of what has happened is sinking in.
Sensing a Trump victory in June last year, Zelensky began saying there would be no peace agreement unless Ukraine was involved. Now that Trump has initiated peace talks with Putin, Zelensky is whining even louder. Zelensky is a radical liberal who has started biting the very hand that has funded his “War.” Depending on which estimate you believe, the U.S. has sent between $140 – $200 billion to Ukraine, half of which the little man claims he never received, so he is in no position to put his foot down on anything.
However, that won’t stop him from trying. Over the weekend, Zelensky stated that he refused to accept the United States’ proposal to provide the U.S. with Ukraine’s rare earth minerals in exchange for military aid.
Vice President JD Vance pitched the proposal on Friday at the Munich Security Conference. It would give the United States access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals “as compensation” for support previously provided by the Biden administration and for future military aid.
Ukraine is rich in critical materials such as graphite, lithium, titanium, beryllium, and uranium, which are essential for the defense and technology industries.
Zelensky has consistently emphasized that security guarantees must accompany any agreement transferring valuable minerals to the United States to prevent future Russian aggression.
With that statement, Zelensky dropped his poker face. He then exposed his hand even further by saying:
“There are voices which say that Europe could offer security guarantees without the Americas, and I always say no.” Security guarantees without America are not real security guarantees.”
In response, National Security Council Spokesman Brian Hughes stated:
“President Zelensky is being short-sighted about the excellent opportunity the Trump Administration has presented to Ukraine.”
In other words, it’s time for the little man to stop demanding and understand that the free handouts are over.
Trying to prove his point, Zelensky then speculated on what Putin was up to, saying he believed Putin was gearing up to “wage war against NATO.”
“There are risks that this can be Poland and Lithuanian because we believe, we believe that Putin will wage war against NATO.”
“That is why I told you that, ‘What is he waiting for?’ For a weakening of NATO by, for instance, policy of the United States of America, for example, that the United States of America will think to take its military from Europe. Yes, Putin thinks of that. But I will believe that the United States will not take its forces, its contingents from Europe because that will severely weaken NATO and the European continent. Putin definitely counts on that. And the fact that we receive information that he will think of the invasion against former Soviet republics. And forgive me, but today these are NATO countries.”
Yesterday, Zelensky stated he delayed his visit to Saudi Arabia to avoid giving “legitimacy” to the meeting between US and Russian officials that took place in Riyadh on Tuesday, according to two sources familiar with the matter.
At his Mar-a-Lago residence, Trump was asked by BBC News about his message to Ukrainians who might feel betrayed.
“I hear that they’re upset about not having a seat; well, they’ve had a seat for three years and a long time before that. This could have been settled very easily.”
“You should have never started it. You could have made a deal. I could have made a deal for Ukraine. That would have given them almost all of the land, everything, almost all of the land – and no people would have been killed, and no city would have been demolished.”
After the meeting, Trump said he was “much more confident.”
“They were very good. Russia wants to do something. They want to stop the savage barbarianism.”
Hearing this, Zelensky lashed out today.
Zelensky told reporters:
“We are seeing a lot of disinformation, and it’s coming from Russia. With all due respect to President Donald Trump as a leader… he is living in this disinformation space.”
This, of course, brought a stern response from Trump, posting this on Truth Social:
“Zelensky better move fast, or he is not going to have a country left. I love Ukraine, but Zelensky has done a terrible job; his country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died.” In the meantime, the US was “successfully negotiating an end to the war with Russia.”
Unlike Biden, Trump isn’t afraid to tell the hard truth. Zelinski is a dictator who has enjoyed a gravy train of cash flowing into and through his laundry room of a country with absolutely no concessions or reciprocation.
Now that Trump has entered the fray, I’m betting that he will end the war and will do so along with getting some compensation from Ukraine. Zelensky thinks he’s playing poker, but in reality, he is on the outside looking in.
Zelensky has been bluffing for too long. Trump just called his bet; now it’s time for him to fold.
