Why the Democrats Just Don’t Get it: The Key to Trump’s Success is Much Bigger than the Price of Bread

The Democratic party today is an entity that stands for nobody and nothing. The left’s biggest issue these radicals advocate for is so-called climate change, a topic that most middle-class Americans are not concerned with. Biden’s signature piece of legislation, the absurdly named Inflation Reduction Act, focused far more on this what Democrats refer to as global warming than the economy or the working class. The left’s priorities are not aligned with the American people. The Reagan Democrats are all now Trump Republicans, and conservatives are the ones who represent most of the middle-class.

Democrats have been divided in how to approach a Trump administration, with some such as Senator Fetterman showing a willingness to work with the President, while others such as Senator Warren and AOC are still fighting everything that he even discusses. One of the more pathetic responses the left has had to the Trump administration is to constantly point out that prices have not fallen significantly in the 2 months since the President came into office. Many Democrats have been making videos about how the price of eggs, which went up because Biden administration policies, has risen with Trump in power.

The left still doesn’t understand the totality of the 2024 election or the full appeal of Trump and his MAGA movement. While certainty, the failed economic record, not just of Biden, but Obama as well, was a big part of the reason Trump prevailed in 2024, there were much larger factors in play. The American people rejected the failed and nasty ideology of the left as well as Biden’s disgraceful foreign policy record in the 2024 election. What happened in November wasn’t just about the price of bread and eggs. The Democrats’ use of different versions of critical race theory, their advocacy of men being allowed to compete with women in sports, and the left’s promotion of the absurd concept that masculinity is a toxic or dangerous to American society, were also all critically important reasons why Trump came back to power in November. The culture wars are an equal and important part of why the MAGA movement has been so successful, and the left refuses to listen to the American people on these key social issues. Biden’s inability to keep the world more peaceful was a very important factor as well.

Biden and Obama didn’t just fail on a policy level, these individuals were also incompetent leaders who polarized the country in ways not seen since the 1960s. Both failed left-wing leaders weaponized the Justice Department and FBI in ways not seen before, and these individuals were also incompetent. Biden didn’t fire a single economist that claimed inflation was transitory, and the corrupt former President also refused to hold any military leaders accountable after the disgraceful withdrawal from Afghanistan. Biden’s policies and record were a disgrace, and his incompetence reached much wider than just the economy.

President Trump is already on the verge of bringing a lasting peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia that should help both stabilize the European region and also bring prices down, since Ukraine and Russia are major sellers of key commodities such as grain and oil. Trump has also already taken action to make sure men don’t compete with women in sports. The president has also shown he has no inclination to seek retribution against any political enemy, despite the predictably false narrative being pushed by the failing liberal press. Trump is trying to unite the country, stabilize the Middle East and Europe, and also bring accountability back to the government. Americans still don’t know who was really running the country when Biden was in power the last 4 years, and it is important that Trump is speaking both with reporters and directly through social media to the American public every day. While the President is obviously focused on the economy as well, people who think the success or failure of Trump is simply about short-term price levels do not understand anything about the country or the MAGA movement that Americans from all different backgrounds have embraced.
