The Left’s Opposition to the Save Act again Exposes the Racism of Democratic Party Leaders
Maya Angelou famously once stated that when someone shows you who they are, believe them. Often times, if you let a person talk long enough, they will show what their values are. Despite many left-wing leader’s claim that Trump is a racist, the Democratic leaders Trump ran against were the ones with a checkered past on racial issues. Hillary Clinton once referred to black men as super predators, and Biden had a long history of supporting segregation as a US Senator. The Democrats have done nothing but gaslight and lie about Trump and the MAGA movement since 2015, and the left’s claim about the President being racist is absurd.
Many of the leaders of the left tried to bring in millions of illegal immigrants and then settle them in rural communities in key states such as Ohio to change the map and shift the electoral college. There have been many credible reports of illegal immigrants voting or trying to vote in elections, and that’s one of the main reasons Republicans want to insist on voter ID laws that are included in the SAVE Act, which passed the House this week. This act is designed to secure US elections, and the bill includes provisions that make sure people have to show either a passport or a birth certificate to vote. This legislation makes people prove that an individual is a US citizen.
The predictable but absurd opposition to this law by some left-wing leaders and activists in the media is clearly racist. These individuals’ claim that this bill is an attempt to suppress the vote because the black community can’t spend $130 to get an ID is both racist and absurd. The irony is that if Republicans made the same illogical claims about blacks not being able to get a passport or show a passport the left would call them racist.
The Democrats made these same baseless claims about the election law in Georgia several years ago, and the state has had near-record turnout over the last 2 years. The real reason the left opposes the SAVE Act is because the Democrats rely heavily on using groups such as ACORN to take people to the polls that don’t often have identification or even know who the candidates are. The left knows the Democrats don’t have the votes in the electoral college to defeat Trump, that’s why the Biden administration tried to bring in so many illegal immigrants and put them into key swing states.
The overwhelming majority of the American people support voter identification laws. People are required to show an ID to do get on planes, rent apartments, and perform many other basic tasks. The notion that people could not obtain a passport or birth certificate to vote is absurd. The left has abused the election system for years, including giving drivers licenses to illegal immigrants in some states. There is no reason for any person to oppose the SAVE Act unless a party wants to cheat to try to win elections.
