While The Left Attacks Christianity, Russia Defends Western Values

Some things to take into consideration. Why are schools allowed to promote alternative genders to students, even to children as young as those in kindergarten, while kids face punishment for discussing Jesus, praying on school grounds, or bringing a Bible?

There have been cases where teachers were reprimanded for praying. Homeowners’ associations have fined residents for displaying crosses on their property. Christians are losing their jobs for discussing God and are being prohibited from attending church on Sundays.

Cities like Chicago are arresting and jailing preachers for sharing the Gospel, while Los Angeles has banned a church from meeting on the beach even though it has done so for 18 years.

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) is actively working to defend those who are being persecuted in those cases. Recently, they took on a new client: a public defender in New York who is facing disciplinary action for having a Bible on his desk at work.

This is not a person who was preaching the gospel or annoying his fellow staffers with religious rhetoric. This was just someone who had a bible lying on their desk. A fact that wasnโ€™t lost on the ACLJ, who released this statement:

โ€œThe notion that a Bible placed quietly on a desk constitutes some kind of coercive government endorsement of religion is not only absurd โ€“ it is legally indefensible. The Establishment Clause was never intended to be weaponized against people of faith.โ€

This whole saga began when a simple-minded snowflake spotted the bible on the personโ€™s desk and demanded that it be removed. The public defender remained calm and informed the moron making the idiotic demand that said such a request would have to be made in writing.

That didnโ€™t happen. Instead, a supervisor stormed into the office, picked up the Bible, and reiterated the demand that it be removed. However, knowing that his civil rights were being violated, the public defender filed for religious accommodation under the Civil Rights Act.

Shortly thereafter, the public defender received a written warning about false performance deficiencies and bogus claims that his conduct had been unduly disruptive.

The ACLJ, defending their client, said this.

On March 6, our client received a written warning citing vague โ€œperformance deficienciesโ€ and claiming that his conduct had been โ€œunduly disruptive.โ€ The warning included a directive to โ€œrefrain from having any Bible or religious text open and visibleโ€ when meeting with clients or even fellow staff members, despite there being no actual disruption, client complaint, or violation of professional standards.

To clarify, the Constitution does not mandate the removal of religious expression from public workspaces, as the ACLJ clearly stated in a statement.

โ€œThis is not just about one Bible or one employee. This is about ensuring that every American, regardless of faith, can work without fear of discrimination or censorship. Our laws and our Constitution are clear: Religious liberty is not a privilege but a right. A right that we will continue to defend in every workplace and at every level of government.โ€

ACLJ stated that they would not stand down until their client received justice.

Contrast these hateful attacks against fundamental Christian beliefs with a stand that Russia recently took against homosexuality, gender reassignment, and traditional family values.

Last week, Russiaโ€™s general prosecutor banned the Elton John AIDS Foundation, citing the group’s promotion of anti-Russian propaganda and homosexuality.

According to Russia Today, the prosecutorโ€™s office accused the foundation of using humanitarian projects to support Western economic pressure against Russia. The agency also claimed that the group undermines traditional values.

โ€œThe NGOs actively participate in an information campaign orchestrated by the โ€˜collective Westโ€™ to discredit traditional values and escalate social tensions,โ€ stated the official Telegram channel of the prosecutorโ€™s office.

In another statement on its website, the Russian office expressed concern about the foundationโ€™s promotion of โ€œnon-traditional sexual relationships, Western family models, and gender reassignment.โ€

The ban affects two non-governmental organizations known as the Elton John AIDS Foundation, one registered in the United States and the other in Britain. Russia has classified them as “undesirable organizations,” a label also applied to other NGOs perceived as promoting an anti-Russian agenda.

The Elton John AIDS Foundation, which aims to provide access to HIV testing and care, reduce the stigma surrounding drug use, and campaign against anti-LGBTQ policies, expressed that it is devastated by the recent decision.

For the record, I personally couldn’t care less what anyone does in their bedrooms. That said, lesbians and gay men do not represent the majority, and transgenderism is a form of mental illness that needs to be treated, but never encouraged or enabled. Heterosexual men and women, by far, represent the more traditional form of a relationship.

While I understand that Elton John is attempting to do a good thing, itโ€™s kind of like closing the barn door after the horse has run out.

The left must learn that they canโ€™t have their way on every topic. While criticizing the values and traditions of others, you can’t constantly shove non-traditional lifestyles down an entire populationโ€™s throat.

The left isn’t looking for acceptance; they insist that people must also endorse their perversions. Yet, they are so thin-skinned that just seeing a bible on a personโ€™s desk triggers them.

The left is attacking Christianity and trying to promote perversion of all types to take its place. In the leftโ€™s alternate universe, there is no right or wrong; everything is based on any ridiculous thought that enters their minds. There is no room for tradition, values, or common sense, but thereโ€™s plenty of room for hatred and violence, which they are resorting to on a much more frequent basis.

Russia is not lily white, and Iโ€™m not condoning the exclusion of any particular social group, but the leftโ€™s arrogance does create division and โ€œsocial tension.โ€ Even a broken clock is right twice a day, and Russia nipping this social contagion in the bud may be one of those times.
