Why Trump Will Easily Again Win the Showdown with Harvard

The left sure likes to defend elites and illegal immigrants. While former President Obama and other Democrats applauded Harvard’s refusing to agree to President Trump’s recent requests in order to receive billion in taxpayer money that the University has a nearly  $53 billion dollar endowment fund, the 47th President has one against picked a battle that he cannot lose. The Democrats refuse to listen to or fight for the middle class of America, and unsurprisingly, this failing party now has an approval rating below 30 percent. The left represents nobody and nothing, the Democratic party remains divided and devoid of any substantive or real message.

Despite the attempt by left-wing leaders like Obama to suggest that Harvard is heroically standing up to President Trump, the reality is the Democrats are simply once again defending out-of-touch elites who are tone-deaf. Harvard received $2.2 billion a year in federal funding through grants, that money makes up nearly 35 percent of the University’s overall budget. Trump once again has the leverage, the author of the Art of the Deal knows that. While the delusional board and executives running Harvard think they are standing up for some absurd virtue, the reality is that these individuals are not living reality. Harvard’s admissions policy, which was disclosed in a recent court filing, is blatantly discriminatory in particular against overrepresented minority groups such as Asians. Harvard essentially subtracts a 100 points from test scores from the applications of Asian students while adding a 100 points to the test scores of individuals from underrepresented minority groups such as the black community. The University’s admission policy essentially makes getting in impossible for even poor Asians simply because of these individuals’ race.

The left’s absurd definition of diversity is exclusively limited to race, and Harvard’s unfair admissions policy discriminates against even poor Asian kids while rewarding the rich sons and daughters of underrepresented minority groups. One of the lies about previous affirmative action and other race-based quota policies was that these programs would significantly hurt the White community. The facts in San Francisco and with Universities such as Harvard clearly indicate that significantly overrepresented minority groups such as the Asian community are the ones most impacted by these discriminatory initiatives. Trump’s requests for Harvard were very basic. The President is asking that the university, which is heavily subsidized by US tax dollars despite having a nearly 53 billion dollar endowment, should use a merit-based system for employing people. Trump also wanted to make sure Harvard and other universities were not bringing people in on Visas who were promoting anti-American ideas and endangering the safety of students on campus. The President’s requests are both basic and reasonable, these asks are also in line with the views and values of most Americans.

The Democrat’s decision to defend elite universities with a nearly 53 billion dollar endowment fund that is receiving over $2 billion a year from taxpayers that are engaging in blatantly discriminatory practices shows exactly what was seen during the last 4 years of the failed Biden administration, the Democratic party does not listen or care about the views middle-class Americans. US citizens have the right to demand accountability for taxpayer dollars, and if wealthy universities want to promote a political agenda and mistreat racial groups the country should not be financing and enabling these policies. Indeed, while the left is focused on defending elites and illegal immigrants, Trump continues to fight for and represent the middle class of the country. The 47th President continues to pick battles that highlight the stark difference between today’s failing and out-of-touch Democratic party. Trump has once again picked the right fight, and he will once again win this battle.
