Burger, Fries, And A Doorbell
Anyone who still lives in Fairfax County, Virginia, do yourself a favor and make it a place where you used to live. Put the house on the market, pack a bag, and smile as you watch it disappear in the rear-view mirror.
Not much is normal in Fairfax County anymore. The school system and local government are controlled by radical liberals who thrive on destroying anything and everything that is considered normal. I feel bad for school-aged children who have to try to attain what this liberal hellhole refers to as an education.
In the past, I have written several columns about the dumpster fire that the county has become. Two that come to mind are โVirginiaโs Most Degenerate County Tries To Put Easter On The back Burner,โ which I wrote last March, and โProgressive Hatred In Fairfax County, Virginia,โ that I wrote just last month. Things are so bad there that what has happened to an all-American business should be considered tragic, but Iโm willing to bet that those who live there are just shrugging their shoulders, shaking their heads, and are viewing this as just another dystopian glimpse of the future.
Believe it or not, a McDonald’s restaurant has installed a doorbell on its front door along with a sign that reads:
โDue to repeated incidents of student violence, this McDonaldโs location is temporarily closed for dine-in service to anyone under 21 years of age.โ
You must ring the doorbell to get in, and Iโm assuming you show ID if your age is questionable.
In a statement to radio station WTOP on Friday, McDonaldโs said:
โWe love being part of the Edison community, and we value each and every customer. Weโve enhanced our Franconia Road McDonaldโs security measures in an effort to promote a safe environment for our customers and staff. This policy was developed in partnership with local school officials with oversight from local law enforcement. This serves as a temporary fix as we work towards a long-term solution for all.โ
A customer confirmed the problem, telling the radio station:
โThese people in here are trying to serve people, and theyโre scared for their lives.โ
One regular diner at the restaurant, Robert Hancasky, told ABC News:
โThe fighting is a problem, and theyโre pretty brazen. The management tries to step in, and these kids are pretty violent. And letโs be honest, theyโre young adults. Theyโre just trying to stop the violence because itโs not fair to any other customer who comes in for the sandwich, a hard-working person, they got to put up with a bunch of idiots.โ
Another diner told DC News Now: โItโs like a jungle when the kids come out.โ
The restaurant is located across from Thomas Edison High School, and local school leaders are urging parents to talk to their children about appropriate behavior in public settings.
At this point, who can say if โa good talking toโ will do any good at all? Frankly, those conversations should have taken place years ago. If the behavior of these high school age students is so bad that a McDonald’s restaurant has to lock its doors and screen who enters, maybe bulletproof vests and armed guards would better serve the situation.
The truth is that the school across the street is nothing more than a radical test lab that is producing monsters who believe they can do anything they want, and that the rules are for everyone else, but not for them.
This is a picture that radical Democrats and their cabal have painted. They are poisoning the minds of anyone who will listen to them, and sadly, schools provide them with a captive audience.
How long will it be before church doors are locked and the clergy have to see who wants to enter through a peephole?
Itโs something to think about.
