The Real Media Scandal During the Biden Regime’s Time in Power was Much Bigger than that of the President’s Health
The pathetic effort by the legacy media to try and rehabilitate what little of left of this failing institution’s reputation is underway now. While even the former President’s most ardent allies now concede that Biden was not fit to run for reelection in 2024, the damage to both the Democratic Party and the failing liberal press that covered up the senile leader’s failings is not close to over. The fact that CNN news anchor Jack Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson have recently received praise throughout the media for their new book on Biden’s failing mental health and the cover-up in the White House of his cognitive decline, shows how delusional and divorced from reality the mainstream media continues to be in America.
Most of the legacy media always leaned heavily to the left. Walter Cronkite was a well-known liberal, Dan Rather attended Democratic fundraisers, and many other key figures in the media, such as Tim Russert with NBC, used to even work with Democrats. Still, the press went to another level after Trump won in 2016. The so-called press became state media for the Federal Government. This fact pattern started with the fake and fraudulent investigation into the President’s nonexistent Russian ties. NPR, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, and nearly every mainstream media outlet other than Fox pushed constantly lies for nearly 2 years about Trump and his ally’s fake connections to Putin, the press was weaponized as opposition media to simply attack Trump and MAGA constantly with lies and innuendo.
The liberal press told constantly lies about Trump, from Russia to taking his comments about race in Charleston out of context, to lying about what he said about Veterans in Europe, the media became a left-wing propaganda machine when the President was in office. These corrupt press outlets also ran interference with Biden when his son’s laptop was revealed to expose his corrupt business dealings. After Biden came to power in 2020, the same corrupt press became state media. The networks would simply repeat Biden and the Democrat’s talking points, these supposed news outlets never did any substantive stories that were negative about his corrupt administration. Trump has even sued ABC and CBS. Former Democratic operative Stephanopoulos was caught lying on air repeatedly even after being warned to not say Trump was a rapist, a claim that was completely false. ABC got exposed for editing an interview with Harris on 60 Minutes, another show that turned into state media when the Biden regime was in power.
The real scandal in the press when Biden was in power was that most of the traditional press became state media. These left-wing radicals running the failing legacy press did not even bother to ask questions of the previous administration, and the media was also more than willing to cover up Biden’s many scandals ranging from his mental health to the many massive bribes the President and his family have received for years from foreign governments. The notion that the only failing of the corrupt and pathetic legacy media that has been abandoned by most of the American public is that the press didn’t simply didn’t do a good job covering Biden’s mental health is completely absurd and nonsensical.
In true Orwellian fashion, the left’s claim that Democracy dies in darkness nearly came to fruition when the media stopped holding the corrupt and incompetent Biden administration accountable. The failing former President’s regime opened the border, engaged in censorship, weaponized the Justice Department against political allies, and covered up Biden’s obviously failing mental and physical health. The notion that the media admitting these individuals made a mistake simply not covering Biden’s cognitive decline is a real or substantive moment of self-realization shows exactly why the United States is done with the corrupt and disgusting legacy press.
