Violent and Divisive South African Government Policies Make A Mess For Democrats
The failing and pathetic legacy media has lost credibility with most Americans for a number of reasons. While the left-wing radicals pretending to be journalists have constantly lied and gaslighted about Trump and the MAGA movement for a decade, another tactic the corrupt press likes to use is ignoring politically inconvenient stories and exaggerating minor events that these individuals think will help promote the far-left agenda these people support. One of the largest and mostly uncovered stories in the world right now is what has been occurring in South Africa, a country that has now suffered from nearly three decades of failing left-wing policies based largely along racial lines.
Current South African President Cyril Ramaphosa visited the White House this past week and met with President Trump, the President, in his trademark style, confronted the corrupt South African leader about the mistreatment of the white farmers in his troubled nation. The history of South Africa is generally misunderstood and, not surprisingly, incorrectly discussed by the legacy media. While, obviously, apartheid is part of South Africa’s history, when the British and Dutch farmers originally settled in the country, most of the land these individuals developed was both unoccupied and not being used. The Europeans developed the land and built the foundation of what today is a first-world economy. Even though there were racial clashes and a racist system of government existed for some time prior to the early 1990s, the original settlement and development of the land in what today is South Africa was not done by colonization or with violence, the larger wars in this country were between Dutch and British settlers, not with Europeans and black South Africans.
While Nelson Mandela is held up as a hero by many, his legacy is much more complicated than the official narrative suggests. After coming to power, the ANC, a political group he represented, governed for years. The ANC was notoriously corrupt and incompetent. Mandela’s wife was also known for using violence against her political opponents. The governments that have been running South Africa since apartheid ended have generally been both corrupt and far-left in their political philosophy. Cyril Ramaphosa’s far-left government is no exception. The corrupt businessman who made his money as a political crony doing insider deals with an incompetent government, leads a governing coalition that is both incompetent and promotes violence.
South African President Ramaphosa and his political allies have even held political rallies calling for violence against the country’s white farmers and the European population. The EFF, Economic Freedom Fighters, South Africa’s fourth biggest political party, even held rallies calling for the murder of white farmers. While the EFF is not directly affiliated with the current South African government, this huge rally promoting violence was not condemned by the South African government.
The current South African government has done little to nothing to protect the white farmer who has been constantly subjected to violence, including murder and rape. One of the more horrific recent racially motivated attacks was when a family of 3 white farmers were murdered in 2016, including a 9-year-old girl, Kayla Meyer.
Most of the genocide and violence that occurred during the 20th century was carried out by left-wing governments such as Mao, Stalin, and Pol Pot in Cambodia. The radical and far-left policies that teach hate and divisiveness often lead to violence, and Americans saw that when the radical group that calls itself Black Lives Matter promoted racial violence after the death of George Floyd in 2020. The legacy media has completely ignored the ongoing and horrific violence that left-wing governments in South Africa have encouraged against Whites because this story does not fit the narrative that whites are oppressors or that left-wing policies are nonviolent. Trump’s decision to confront Ramaphosa was another example of the President shining a light on some of the inconvenient truths the failing and corrupt legacy media has refused to cover for years.
