Who The Hell Does Illinois Think W.H.O. Is?
Democrats in Illinois have decided that killing an unborn baby takes precedence over common decency and common sense. They are willing to make a deal with a devil in sheep’s clothing, the World Health Organization, a bought and paid for collection of elite globalists whose unstated intentions are to massively depopulate the globe.
The Democrats operate under a single principle: Agenda, Agenda, Agenda. They show little concern for who may be harmed or offended in the process. They often create misleading narratives to obscure the true intentions behind their agenda, which, regrettably, many left-wing radicals are likely to believe. The Democrats excel at convincing specific segments of the population to trust them by presenting distorted stories that they want these individuals to accept as facts.
Recently, the Democrat-controlled Illinois Senate passed a bill allowing the distribution of abortion pills in the state, even if the FDA deems them unsafe for women.
If you’re like me, you will need to take a minute to let that sink in. This is another unprecedented example of the Democrats’ hatred for women. To Democrats, nothing about women or their rights is worth saving. Democrats want men in women’s sports, bathrooms, and even their showers. They applaud when men pretend to be women and defeat them in sports that they used to be able to call their own, even though by doing so, they strip women of self-esteem to gratify the delusions of mentally ill males.
Now, they are so desperate to push the abortion agenda, they are willing to sacrifice women’s health. State lawmakers are telling Illinois women that the judgment of a global organization, heavily influenced by China, is prioritized over America’s own health and safety standards.
House Bill 3637 has passed the state Senate with a vote of 38-19 on Thursday. It will now return to the House for final approval before going to Governor Pritzker for his signature. Pritzker is the radical leftist who, in June of 2019, signed into law Senate Bill 25, or the Reproductive Health Act. The act repealed the Illinois Abortion Law of 1975, which penalized doctors for performing abortions considered “unnecessary”, and the “Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act”.
The bill’s sponsor, Senator Karina Villa (D-West Chicago), made it crystal clear what evil they intend to inflict on the women in the state:
“If the World Health Organization, or WHO, still recommends a drug, it can still be prescribed and dispensed in the scenario that the FDA revokes them.”
Republican lawmakers expressed significant concerns regarding this unprecedented action to circumvent federal safety standards.
Senator Jil Tracy (R-Quincy) stated:
“To depend on the World Health Organization, whose highest contributors and funding come from China, just seems very illogical to me in something dealing with people’s health.”
When asked if any other state had allowed the WHO to override FDA authority, Villa could not name a single example, stating instead, “I can get back to you.”
There is a good reason she couldn’t answer: There are none.
State Senator Sue Rezin (R-Morris) emphasized this issue during the debate.
“The problem that I have with the bill is that this is setting precedents. This clearly has not happened anywhere else in the country, where we’re asking the World Health Organization, which we’re not sure will be in existence in a year or could be considered political, to be able to supersede the FDA.”
Additionally, the bill protects medical providers who lose their licenses in other states, provided their conduct was not unlawful in Illinois.
The entire premise of this bill and the protections it offers are outrageous. This type of reckless legislation is what is forced into existence when Democrats are in control of a state’s government.
This creates a safe environment for abortion providers who have faced disciplinary actions elsewhere due to unsafe practices.
Dr. Bill Hauter, a Republican state representative and emergency medicine practitioner, cautioned against the risks of eliminating safety protocols regarding abortion.
“We have to stop this sort of breaking down all of the safety mechanisms we have around abortion. There have to be some safety mechanisms, whether it be in the abortion clinic or with abortion mechanisms. Do not reject the authority of the U.S. federal Drug Administration. This is an important safety mechanism. This bill would reject that. This is unprecedented in my mind.”
When given an inch, radical liberals will take a mile. Illinois Democrats are advancing new legislation that would require public universities to provide abortion pills at campus health centers.
House Bill 3709 mandates that public universities and community colleges with health centers provide both contraception and medication for abortion.
The Senate Executive Committee approved the bill on Wednesday with a 9-4 vote. Senator Villanueva openly acknowledged that the legislation eliminates the requirement for abortion medication to be FDA-approved. This change was made because Democrats are concerned that the Trump administration may revoke approval for these drugs.
These bills clearly show what Illinois Democrats prioritize. Their focus is not on women’s health and safety, but on ensuring abortion access at any cost.
By rejecting the FDA’s authority to determine which drugs are safe for American women, Illinois lawmakers are risking women’s health by allowing access to potentially harmful medications for the sole purpose of terminating pregnancies.
Agenda, Agenda, Agenda.
Democrats in Illinois are introducing risks into the lives of women in their state. If the FDA were to determine that certain abortion drugs pose serious health risks to women, Illinois Democrats have ensured that these potentially dangerous drugs would still be available in their state.
Likewise, even if doctors lose their licenses in other states for unsafe abortion practices, Illinois Democrats are eager to welcome them.
W.H.O. is nothing more than a political organization that the Democrats use to advance their distorted agendas. Like spoiled children who run to the parent they think will give them the answer they want, this sets a horrible precedent demonstrating a total lack of leadership.
