“Illegal Immigration is not A Crime” is Yet Another Absurd Lie by the Left

The Democratic party still has not figured out how significantly the media landscape has shifted since Trump first came on the political scene in 2016, and the left continues to try and push false narratives to try and cover up the many absurd positions today’s failing Democrats support.

One of the biggest lies pushed by the left is today that entering and staying in the US illegally is not a crime, this is just a civil violation, and that many of these individuals are people with a valid or legal reason to come in America, such as seeking asylum. While not every person who comes to the US is violent, in order to enter the US and stay here illegally an individual needs to engage in a number of criminal acts. Most people working in the US illegally are forced to either fraudulently try to obtain a social security number to pay taxes or avoid making these payments altogether. Obviously, those here illegally are also not likely to disclose that information when applying for jobs, seeking health care, or getting government housing. The people who are here illegally also are not likely going to tell law enforcement their legal status as well. These individuals are forced to lie and to commit multiple crimes just to stay in the country.

People who are living a lie are forced to make false and incorrect statements to cover up that secret, and those here illegally are forced to engage in a number of financial and other crimes to stay in the country. The United States is the only industrialized country in the world where people have been able to come here illegally and work without fear of deportation for many years. President Trump was right when he said the US is either a country of law or we are not, and enforcing the rules on the books is important to maintaining law and order as well.

The entire idea of a sanctuary city is also completely inconsistent with the idea of following the law. States such as New York frequently have counties and cities that do not report even the apprehension of violent illegal immigrants to ICE and there are multiple cases of the federal government having to catch these convicted felons in the streets after local leaders released them into the public rather than turning these individuals over to law enforcement officials because of these absurd left-wing policies. Many of these violent people also commit additional crimes after being released rather than turned over to ICE.
The failed and disgusting Biden administration opened the border and allowed millions of illegal immigrants into the US that mostly went to sanctuary cities and cost taxpayers billions of dollars in multiple cases.

The same left-wing leaders who advertise their states and cities and welcome illegal immigrants even had the audacity to complain about Republican governors sending illegals to them. Some of the people who came here illegally were terrorists and violent criminals, but this was not known to the country because Biden did not adequately vet these individuals. One of the other problems with allowing millions of undocumented people into the country is that there is no way of tracking most of these individuals since these illegals don’t in many cases have traditional identification, and that creates additional public safety issues as well. The Biden administration had lost track of thousands of children.

The reality is that the so-called issue of illegal immigration is not an immigration debate at all. The corrupt Biden regime opened the border and sanctuary cities and allowed these illegal into the country to help the left politically, Democratic leaders do not care about these people who entered without documents, they just look at them as pawns to help Democrats stay in power. The argument that new legislation or funding was needed to secure the border was always a lie, and Trump’s efforts to stop illegal immigration have shown that yet again. Today’s Democratic party does not support following the law, and sanctuary cities are yet another example of that fact.
