Randi Weingarten Cuts DNC Ties She Never Should Have Had
The last time I saw Randi Weingarten, she was doing something she’s good at, making a fool of herself. At a “No Kings” protest, another of the lamest ideas ever conceived, Weingarten was filmed jumping up and down hysterically spewing forth meaningless rhetoric.
In case you’re unfamiliar with the name, Weingarten is the President of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the largest teachers’ union in the country. She has consistently led the union farther and farther to the left, in direct lockstep with the liberal Democrats’ agenda.
It’s now obvious why. Weingarten has been a member of the DNC for 23 years, but she now apparently has a different opinion from that of the DNC Chair, Ken Martin.
In a letter dated June 5th, she revealed that she was declining to be reappointed as an at-large committee member.
“While I am a proud Democrat, I appear to be out of step with the leadership you are forging, and I do not want to be the one who keeps questioning why we are not enlarging our tent and actively trying to engage more and more of our community.”
Now, I don’t own a crystal ball, but in this case, I don’t need one to understand that anyone who is a member of the DNC for 23 years should not be the president of the largest teachers’ union in the country. We all know that journalism is dead in the United States, having been replaced by narcissistic talking heads, but shouldn’t at least one of these puppets have cut the strings and pretended to be a journalist long enough to question this? Why didn’t any Republicans take the initiative to expose this? The most prominent laboratory Democrats have to create these leftist zombies is the current school system, led by lunatics like Weingarten, and nobody exposed her as the double agent for the Democrats that she is.
That type of deliberate ignorance can’t continue. Weingarten clearly endorsed the Democrats in every way and influenced everyone under her. By doing so, she seriously depressed the education system by turning it into a social experiment, pushing the deranged idea of gender identity over everything else. The trail is obvious: follow the money.
Campaign contributions from the American Federation of Teachers to Democrats:
1994: 99.4 percent, 1996: 99.1 percent, 1998: 98.9 percent, 2000: 99.2 percent, 2002: 99.3 percent, 2004: 98 percent, 2006: 99.1 percent, 2008: 99.1 percent, 2010: 99.4 percent, 2012: 99.4 percent, 2014: 99 percent, 2016: 99.7 percent, 2018: 99.8 percent, 2020: 99.6 percent, and 2022: 99.97 percent.
Weingarten has disgraced herself many times, but this revelation should be enough to force her resignation. Her bludgeoning of the education system was bought and paid for with direction and assistance from the Democratic Party—an affiliation she can no longer deny.
Weingarten loves the limelight; she loves flaunting the power of the unions instead of implementing the type of education that will be crucial for the students once they reach the workplace. It’s time for her to go. I’d say she had worn out her usefulness, but frankly, with her far-left views, it’s clear she never had any.
