According To The UK, Heads You’re a Baby, Tails You’re A Choice

The UK just made a fool of itself concerning miscarriages and abortions, proving once again that the left has labels for everything in an attempt to explain their delirium, whether it’s rational or not.

Not unlike the fact that liberals can only define a woman when it coincides with their agenda, they also lie and attempt to pull a sleight of hand with the terminologies that define life.

Before the woke sought an excuse to justify killing a growing human being, it was understood that when you were pregnant, you were carrying a BABY. However, tender snowflakes needed to soften the blow to their tender psyches, so if they chose to have an abortion, they couldn’t deal with the truth, so they came up with a wide variety of names for what was growing inside them.

The idea that they were killing a child was too much for them to bear. So, they began to refer to them as a clump of cells. Mind you, nothing changed except the terminology that the left chose to use to describe them. They are indeed growing BABIES, a rose by any other name, is still a rose.

What’s interesting about the UK’s left’s paradoxical views is that they decided to issue laws that highlighted their hypocrisy at the same time. Usually, they would have spaced them out so the average person would have had to take a moment at least to think about it, but in this case, they demonstrated their idiocy in neon sign form.

Women who lose a child after 24 weeks of pregnancy can take two paid weeks off for bereavement. This policy now extends to include one week of bereavement leave for a loss occurring within 24 weeks.

Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner said the change will give people time away from work to grieve.

“No one who is going through the heartbreak of pregnancy loss should have to go back to work before they are ready.”

Huh?

Musician and broadcaster Myleene Klass, who spearheaded a movement to raise awareness about the issue, stated:

“You’re not ill, you’ve lost a child, there’s a death in the family.”

Klass added that the topic had been “swept under the carpet,” stating it was only after experiencing pregnancy loss herself that many of her friends and family shared their “deep dark secret” of having had miscarriages, too.

She said:

“It’s a taboo – nobody wants to talk about dead babies – but you have to actually say it as it is. To lose a child is harrowing, it’s traumatic.”

Unless, of course, you make a decision to end that life, then it’s OK.

How absurd is this?

The same government that is recognizing that women experiencing a miscarriage are also experiencing a death in the family, simultaneously passed a law that decriminalized abortion up to the moment of birth.

During the debate on the UK’s extensive Crime and Policing Bill, Members of Parliament (MPs) rejected Creasy’s proposal to recognize access to abortion as a human right in England and Wales. However, they did pass an amendment that decriminalizes women who terminate their own pregnancies, regardless of how many weeks they are into their gestation.

The vote in favor of this change—by a comfortable majority of 379 to 137—was front-page news in the UK, with headlines such as:

“MPs vote to decriminalize abortion at any point up to birth.”

If nothing else, these laws highlight that the UK’s stance on abortion is pure ignorance. Think about this: if you lose a baby naturally, it’s a death in the family, and you can grieve that loss. Yet you can choose to kill a baby at any time before birth, and there are no consequences.

The UK has just clarified its hatred for traditional values. They threw pregnant women a bone by offering them a week-long hiatus if they lost their child before 24 weeks, but they will also allow women to kill their children right up until birth.

The UK is slipping further and further out of reality’s grasp. Which copycat nation will follow this madness?

Heads, it’s a baby. Tails, it’s a choice.
